I installed several of these cameras in our company's new IP network security system. They are easy to mount and adjust and POE capable. We get excellent quality video whether we run them at 1.3 megs and 15 fps or 720p at 30 fps. The set up or configuration program is easy to use too.

1.3 Megapixel IP Network Bullet IR Security Camera
Review by Elmer Esterling on May 28, 2014
This is a relatively good IP network megapixel camera. You'll get 1.3 megapixels at 15 frames per second or 720p at 30 frames per second with it. Either way you'll get high definition video. It's cheaper than purchasing a box camera for use outside because the bullet is already to go. The box camera would require extra purchases of a lens and an enclosure. It's got its own built in web server so you don't have to use it with an NVR. The video quality is good, high detail of course, sharp, and still of good quality in the infrared mode. However, the "Product Manual" is terribly translated and I would recommend that upon receiving the camera you try to use it as cup coaster or something. Geesh. However, on behalf of Security Camera King I can't ding them too bad for this because there is a very viable solution. Just contact their technical support guys with any questions you have. These guys are knowledgeable experienced installers and they know their products. They are also very willing to help so don't feel intimidated not to call.

1.3 Megapixel IP Network Bullet IR Security Camera
Review by Alexis Bolt, Bolt Down Security on May 13, 2014
As a fairly well established security company, we use a variety of suppliers for our customers equipment needs including Techvision (Security Camera King) and others. We have dealt with Security Camera King for several years now and have never experienced any problems with their equipment or their service. And speaking of equipment, this little 1.3 megapixel bullet camera is a good example. It's really quite the gem for high definition recording. Resolution is just about everything these days so a 2 or 3 megapixel camera is popular too, but this type of camera offers the benefits of high definition without the higher cost. Don't be fooled by the appearance of this camera. The picture may look like one of those cheap knock-offs you often see in package systems in wholesale stores but there is no comparison. This camera is easy to mount with a ball and socket joint which allows movement in all directions (it also has a set screw to hold). The resolution and clarity of the picture is just as good in color as it is in IR black and white. In addition, you don't have to be a professional to install or own this camera. Security Camera King has a great technical support staff that is willing to help pros and amateurs alike.

We've been dealing with Security Camera King/Tech Pro for several years now (at least over 5 years). I can't think of any company that offers such quality products accompanied by super technical support like they do. That includes this 1.3 megapixel bullet camera. It is light and easy to install, yet strong enough to withstand most outdoor weather conditions. It is a mainstay in our cadre of network products that we offer our clients. The video image is classic with vibrant colors great detail and very clear.

This camera is a relatively small bullet camera (it can fit in the palm of your hand). It has about 30 infrared LEDs that give it about a 50 foot infrared range distance in total darkness. This is a wide angle camera with a fixed 3.6 mm lens. The camera can record at 1.3 megapixels (1280 X 960) however it should be stated that the frame rate at this resolution is 15 frames per second (fps). It can record at lower resolutions, including 720P (1280 X 720) at a faster frame rate of 30 fps. The resolution is simply amazing and even though it is an overview type camera the ultra high resolution allows you to see some of the finest details. WE use the POE option so all we had to do was run one Cat5 Ethernet cable to the camera (no need to run a power line since it is provided using the Cat5E cable. The camera is easy to mount and the way it is designed you can basically mount it on the ceiling or the wall the way the camera comes in the box without the need to purchase any type of additional mount. It is pretty simple to mount and operate but I wanted to use this a little differently than the norm so I contacted Security Camera King and spoke with their tech support folks. I really didn't expect them to be so accommodating. After my session with them, I must say I will purchase any and all future equipment from Security Camera King.

This is a very good megapixel class camera. The price is affordable and the features are plentiful. I get great videos both day and night. I would suggest this camera to other potential buyers. I think it's one of the most economical cameras for the features and resolution that is around. Security Camera King's technical support department should be mentioned too. If you don't know a thin about installing a video security system, whatever the type, by the time you review all the tutorials and help on the website and contact Security Camera King support, you should have no problems.

We purchased this camera to add to our existing Security Camera King IP network system. Of course with the Security Camera King system it works like a charm, but I'm sure it would with others too. The camera captures a decent 1.3 megapixel video at 15 frames per second. We use our POE switching power supply for power so all we needed for hookup was the CAT5 Ethernet cable. This purely a network camera; meaning that there is no capability for standalone using by recording to a local memory card. (Not a problem for us anyway, because we don't need it, but I thought I would mention it for the benefit of others.) It's a pretty good standard 1.3 megapixel bullet camera with a sturdy mount.

Nice high performance camera. I placed the order for this camera and it was delivered two days later. Shipping/packing condition was perfect. The style of the camera is kind of small and stout but the video it captures is big and well defined. Not a bad price for a basic IP network 1.3 megapixel camera that also has its own embedded web server. This camera makes for a great single purchase because you don't have to have an NVR to run it. You can plug this camera into the network and pick it up on your computer using a typical Internet browser. As for the resolution 1.3 megs at 15 frames per second works well for us. If you are a stickler on video capturing "fluidity" then you may want to consider dropping the resolution a bit to 720p and recording at 30 frames per second. The camera has a fair amount of electronic features for enhancement of the video and good amount of remote operation functions. I get the full 50 foot infrared range without any problem. Speaking of problems, I have had none with this camera and I have no complaints either. I would recommend it to others.
