This NVR is an installers dream. Just plug in the hard drives, plug in the cameras and you are up and running. No cameras to configure (unless you want to). Truly plug-n-play!

If you're interested in purchasing this NVR and are wondering how it performs the answer is great. I've had no problems with it and it handles my recording settings without any difficulty. Furthermore it integrates well with our office network with no conflicts or difficulties.

Starting from the beginning, I was given the ok to purchase this NVR and several cameras for the purpose of installing it in our office building to cover both outside and inside. I ordered it on this site using our company VISA card, as well as the other items we needed, and in four business days everything had arrived at our door. So, fast easy shipping, and nothing was damage or non-functional.

Next step, installation. Mounting the cameras is standard, that is it's no different than the process for installing analog cameras really. Just decide where you want the camera and use the screws to mount it to a wall or ceiling. There are two parts that are very tedious, or at least can be. Running the Cat 5E cable and aiming the cameras. The built in POE switch is nice. That means you just connect the cameras to the NVR and run network connection from the NVR to your network. If you have problems with configuring your cameras, the NVR can search them out for you and from what I understand, Security Camera King will even offer to set you up remotely for free.

Operation is nice, especially the remote Internet function. I down loaded just about all the external apps and software because we have several remote users that use anything from a PC to an iPhone to a tablet. I really can't find anything at major to fault this NVR with so I will rate it at 5 stars.
