This smoke detector offers a straight down view and is great for use over doorways, cash registers, or anywhere that money or goods are being handled. The smoke detector does not function and should not replace a working smoke detectorl

The camera built into this unit utilizes a 380TVL high resolution 1/4 inch CCD with a 3.7mm wide angle lens. This will provide great coverage of any room in fairly low light. Some lighting will be required, but a TV or a night light should be sufficient to achieve great video recordings.
