The camera built into this unit utilizes a 380TVL high resolution 1/4 inch CCD with a 3.7mm wide angle lens. This will provide great coverage of any room in fairly low light. Some lighting will be required, but a TV or a night light should be sufficient to achieve great video recordings.

We purchased one of these cameras to cover an area that was very difficult to run a cable to in our store and it works great. The receiver is located right next to our DVR and we have incorporated this camera directly into our system. Lighting for our application is not an issue; the video images are clear and fairly detailed. We recommend it.
