I decided to add this to my DVR after I purchased it. I record 16 channels at CIF resolution and this drive easily gives me two more weeks of storage at medium video quality.

My security camera system, especially the DVR is a few years old. It is an Ultimate system that I purchased from Security Camera King about three years ago. The system still works like the day I received it, but technology has increased so much that in some ways it seems as though it is becoming out dated. One such way is that I archive all of my video footage and I must do it on a regular basis because of tehe size of the hard drive. Now, with this 2 Terabyte SATA hard disk drive I can archive footage and have plenty of storage space to do it on. THe drive transfers speeds are fast and the the drive itself works perfectly. Excellent backup tool.

I added this drive to my DVR and now I have plenty of storage capacity that I don't have to worry about losing important data because of rerecording looping. The hard disk seems fast and dependable and installing it was relatively easy.

I should have upgraded when I first bought my system from you but I didn't think I would need more storage and I never consulted your tech support people. This new drive works great, just like the original 250 GB drive but now I've got three times the storage space and a lot longer turn around time on camera recordings.
