Our Elite Series 32 channel DVR features embedded Linux OS, remote monitoring from anywhere in the world, audio recording on 16 channels and H.264 compression. This is NOT a PC based DVR which is subject to viruses and hacking. This is a standalone unit built for only one purpose - the best quality video surveillance in the world.
The Elite Series 32 channel DVR is the state-of-the-art in digital surveillance technology. This DVR features professional grade components and is manufactured to industrial standards. Its advanced functionality makes this one of the best standalone systems on the market today.
This unit is all about versatility. With HDMI, VGA and BNC Video outputs, you can operate several different monitors simultaneously. And, with the included Matrix output, you can also run a separate monitor that can be programmed to display a completely different series of cameras!
The Elite Series utilizes H.264 hardware compression to bring you great quality video while maximizing your hard disk storage capacity. This DVR is capable of recording CIF resolution on all channels at 30fps and D1 resolution on all channels at 7fps simultaneously.
The Elite Series DVR is amazingly simple to setup and operate. An intuitive mouse-driven interface provides very simple point-and-click control over all functions and settings. In addition, the unit also includes an IR remote control. The jog shuttle control can be used to easily fast forward, rewind, and advance frame by frame. Up to 16 channels can be played back at the same time at the DVR, and 4 channels can be played back via the web interface or client software.
The built-in Web server allows you to perform most every function of the DVR remotely with Internet Explorer. Client software is also included to allow you to centrally monitor multiple Elite Series units simultaneously. Two-way audio over the network or Internet is also standard on the Elite Series. So, not only can you hear what is going on, you can interact. This DVR supports up to 20 simultaneous network or Internet users. With Dynamic DNS support, it is not necessary to have a static IP address on your network in order to remotely access this DVR. This saves you money, as most ISPs charge extra for a static IP address.
Having the ability to remotely view your system is great, but what if you are on the road and just can't monitor your system all the time. This is no problem with the Elite Series DVRs highly flexible email capability. Just set up a standard POP email account and have the system email you anywhere based on any criteria you choose. Many of our customers have emails sent to their cell phone for real time alerts. You choose email triggers that you want, and the DVR does the rest.
Storage capacity will never be a problem with the Elite Series 32 Channel DVR. Up to 8 SATA hard disk drives can be installed if no burner is mounted, and up to 7 SATA drives can be installed if you choose to use the DVD-RW drive. In addition, the DVR supports eSATA to allow you to use removable external eSATA drives to store your footage. RAID hard disk management keeps your data safe from hard drive failures, while FTP backup and recording functionality ensures your video is safe even if the DVR is destroyed.
Video can be backed up to a DVD-RW or a USB thumb drive for safe keeping or in the event that you must give the footage to the police. Video can also be saved right on your PC for easy access.
The easy 3D mouse operated PTZ control allows you to control any PTZ camera. Just click on the screen and drag your mouse around. The PTZ camera follows the mouse pointer so you can smoothly and accurately follow any objects of interest.
This system runs on a rock solid Linux embedded OS, with embedded web server, and digital signal processors to bring you the most powerful network-based digital video recorder available. This high end system will provide you with everything you need other than a monitor. If you tie the system into your network, you wont even need a monitor to view your DVR.
The Elite Series DVR comes with an industry leading FULL 3 YEAR WARRANTY !!
And don't forget that we provide support for every step of your installation project.
***Please note: In most cases we will be able to remotely assist you in the configuration of your computer network for remote DVR viewing. However, we cannot be responsible for complex network configuration or the performance of your internet connection.***

32 Channel Elite Series H.264 Realtime Security DVR

We ordered this DVR as a replacement for an older model made by a different company that broke down just after the one year warranty on the DVR expired. Needless to say, we aren't purchasing anything from that company any more. This DVR seems to be very good. We have had it for about three months now, so I will reserve judgment a little until we have owned it longer do to the experience with the previous DVR. I must say that this DVR seems to produce a better quality video recording, even at the CIF resolution size and it easily adapted to all of our pre-installed cameras. I believe this Security Camera King DVR also has more features than our previous model, and it is very easy to set up and operate. I especially like the remote access feature using the Internet. If I can remember, I will return in about a year and provide an update.

Good recorder with many features and high quality digital recordings. The displays even though small at CIF resolution are crisp, clear and color correct and even maintain some clarity when enlarged (if you don't over do it). The DVR is relatively quiet and efficient and does a good job of handling the workload. Let's face it, any resolution for 32 cameras recording simultaneously at 30 frames per second is a pretty heavy workload. We use this system in our bingo hall and it covers both the exterior parking lot and building as well as the interior areas. In fact we even have a camera at the callers counter and every time someone declares a winning card, our floor runners bring the card to the callers counter where the it is captured on camera for documentation proof. When I first started this business I was on my own, but I eventually convinced my brother to partner with me. The two of us installed the system ourselves and although we didn't try to hurry, we had the entire system installed in about one week. We have our business office off to the side of the hall and that is where the DVR and HDMI monitor are. We ran a VGA line through the wall and have another monitor up at the callers counter, so they can make sure the winning cards get captured properly and can also keep an eye on things during down times. We run the cameras continuously during play times and put them on motion detection recording during down times. I got a great buy on-line for some bulk purchases of external eSATA drives so we usually back up our footage to an eSATA once every week and rewrite fresh. We have enough eSATAs to actually archive for about two months then we overwrite them. We have three area microphones that pick up the floor call outs and we have patched the callers microphone into one channel too, so we have a record of numbers called. I must admit the whole system works pretty well for us and we have had no problems. I have connected the DVR to the Internet but really haven't had much need for it as of yet as we are there during business hours and we haven't had any vandalism or theft attempts (yet) and hopefully never will. If you need a 32 channel CIF realtime system, I would recommend this one to you.

Works great! I was going to due a quickie review of this machine with two or three words and then I changed my mind. It wouldn't do the machine or Security Camera King much justice and it wouldn't be very valuable for someone trying to determine if this is for them. The quality recording and display for the resolution (CIF) is excellent. The DVR has no problem keeping pace with all 32 channels even in continuous mode. In addition it handles are audio inputs very well, and I have to say the inexpensive microphones we purchased from Security Camera King do a pretty nice job of picking up the sound. Although fearing the risk of overworking the DVR, I also connected my alarm system through it, Not to mention the fact that I use two simultaneous monitors 1 HDMI and 1 VGA and 1 spot monitor. Well, I can say with confidence that this didn't over load the DVR by any means and that it continues to work smoothly, recording nicely, and handling the remote access as well from the Internet, all with out bogging down, burning up, dropping frames, crashing or anything else. Did I mention we also use the D1 recording resolution on the four designated channels at 30 frames per second? The On Screen Display menu system is pretty easy to figure out; it's like any other electronic machine these days. I recently purchased a wireless land line multi-phone system for my mother-in-law and I thin I spent about as much time learning to use that system to set it up as I did this, so you can see it's not that bad. The Internet remote access options are just totally awesome. I can't think of any better way to put it, and they work fine with my personal computer of my iPhone. I pretty much has the system set up to run and forget so to speak so I don't fiddle with the settings much. I did purchase the DVD burner and it works great and is inexpensive! I also beefed up the internal storage as well. I would recommend this 32 channel recorder to anyone who is satisfied in CIF recording on 28 channels and D1 on 4. However, I have to admit, in retrospect, now that I've seen the difference in recording resolutions on this unit between CIF and D1, I would recommend you pay the $300 more and go with the full D1 resolution Ultimate DVR. None the less, I'm not disappointed by any means.
My title sounds like an automobile commercial, I know, but I mean it for this 32 channel DVR. When you think about it, 32 cameras on one DVR is on heck of a load to bear. Imagine your computer with 32 separate web cams all working at once plus recording to the hard drive and performing a bunch of other functions! Bog downs, skipped frames, and crashes were what I expected to be the norm for this DVR because it even though it advertises that it is a 32 camera DVR that can record at CIF at 30 frames per second, I was skeptical. In fact the day the package arrived I told my staff to let me open the package (I wanted to do it in my office where I could open the boxes and keep all of the packing material pristine for the purpose of sending back the unit when it started acting up). Then I began to peruse the manual and saw where it not only recorded CIF at 30 frames per second for 32 channels but for four of those channels it could also record D1 resolution at 30 frames per second simultaneously wit the other 28 channels at CIF at the same rate. I had to see this, because I really didn't think it would perform well. Boy, was I wrong! Not only does this DVR handle all 32 channels at whatever settings you give it but integrates all the other functions with it as well, effortlessly. In addition it still offers Pentaplex functionality and Internet or network accessibility with ease. If you need a 32 camera system that can record like this one and also handle sound, alarms, and network integration, fear not! This DVR will certainly get the job done. By the way it's been about 3 months since we first starting using it. The packaging is out of my office and sitting in the warehouse out back; I don't think we are going to need it.

Security Camera King's 32 Channel Elite Series H.264 Realtime Security DVR is pretty good working machine. As you can tell by my rating, I'm not one to just "throw out stars" for my ratings. To earn five stars with me you really, I mean really have to impress me. This DVR is packed with all sorts of options and features but I have seen the same things on other brand DVRs for less money as well as others that go for about the same price but record in D1 at real-time. However, to be fair I have seen plenty more advertised that sold for more and had even less. One of the things that I like about this 32 Channel DVR is that although it handles a lot of cameras, the case looks like any other ordinary DVR. That is, it is somewhat flat or horizontal. I have seen a lot of 32 Channel DVRs while shopping that are basically inside a vertical desktop computer case. They cannot be mounted on a network framework (rack mount) and they look big and bulky. I have had to reboot this DVR a couple of times, but I am not really sure of the reason (it may have been a local power loss even). Just because I rated this at three stars doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend it to a colleague. I would.

This is a very good "mega" multi channel DVR. We have had NO stutters, NO frozen screens, NO crashes, and NO unnecessary reboots, in other words it has run without a hitch. You really need to check this DVR out closely to appreciate all the features and benefits it carries. First of all, the full three year warranty is nice. Most other sites will give you a one year warranty and if you want more than that you have to pay extra. Not at Security Camera King. 32 cameras recording at CIF resolution at a frame rate of 30 frames per second simultaneously (960 frames per second?) is amazing enough, but it also records up to 16 channels of audio and accepts up to 16 channels of alarm inputs and has 6 channels of 12VDC alarm outputs. You can even program a camera in motion detection to set off an alarm! The video display options are nice too. More often than not, more than one monitor is preferred with a multiple camera installation as high as 32. This unit gives you lots of choices including a spot monitor, a VGA, a BNC, and an HDMI output. (And you don't have to rely on the HDMI only for audio output, the unit has a BNC output for audio as well.) Plus this DVR can handle PTZ cameras and 3D PTZ mouse positioning (basically point with the mouse, click, and the camera goes there). There is also plenty of room for internal as well as external storage so as long as you have the drives you should never run out of space. Finally, this unit is completely accessible through personal computers, laptops, and smartphones. What more could you ask for?

Let me say right up front that I like just about everything about this DVR. It records well, it doesn't crash, it doesn't need reboots, and it integrates with Internet functions very well. That's the short end of my review, if that's good enough for you, you can stop reading because now I'm going to talk about the specifics.
This DVR comes with an unprecedented 3 year full warranty. If you're worried about making a purchase over the web, know this, you can return your purchase immediately and if for some unusual reason the unit should fail during your ownership, it's backed for the first 3 years with a full warranty. That really boosted my confidence about the unit and purchasing it over the web.
With this DVR you get 32 channels of simultaneous recording at CIF resolution at 30 frames per second (realtime) and channels 1, 9, 17, and 25 can also be set up to record D1. This works great for using the majority f the cameras as typical overview cameras but with the increased screen size display resolution you can use these other four channels for shots like cash registers, face identification, or PTZ cameras to name a few. On the other hand, if you are looking for full D1 resolution video recording on all 32 channels but do not want to pay the additional cost for the Ultimate DVR, at a sacrifice of frame rat, you can also record D1 on all channels at a reduced rate of 7 frames per second. We use the first option and have a PTZ, and 3 other varifocal lens cameras hooked up to the D1 channels.
With 32 channels, there's a good chance you'll want more than one monitor or more than one type of video display. With the 32 Channel Elite, you can take your pick. HDMI, VGA, and BNC outputs are available as well as the video matrix option that allows you display a "set" of cameras on a monitor. We use the HDMI option with a large screen LCD TV/monitor at 1080p and it works remarkably well.
As for the electronic features, there are really too many to list individually. If you are looking for something specific, try checking out the "Descriptions" section or drop Security Camera King a line to their support or sales department (try the "Chat Live with an Expert Online Now" option to see if they have the specific feature you are looking for. My guess is that there are very, very few potential customers that won't find what they are looking for. And speaking of electronic features, the DVR is controlled by an On Screen Display (OSD) menu system. The OSD in turn is controlled by the buttons on the front of the DVR, or by the included USB mouse, or by the included infrared remote control, or remotely by connecting the DVR to the Internet and accessing with a computer or smartphone.
Also, the DVR has room of for an optional DVD burner if you desire one. We didn't choose one because we have our own computers with DVD burners so we can download the segments we want to a USB thumb drive, copy it to our computer, and burn the DVD from there. Since DVDs only hold a fraction of the capacity of a 32 gig thumb drive, I guess the only reason you would really want one is for convenience sake (especially if you don't have a personal computer handy) and they are very inexpensive to add.
Finally, the 32 channel Elite Series DVR offers up to 16 channels of audio input, 16 channels of alarm inputs (with 6 channels of alarm outputs) and plenty of internal as well as external hard drive storage options. You can really beef up the storage capacity if you want to reduce write over times.
To sum it all up, we are very satisfied with our unit. It performs well and handles all functions without slowing down, dropping frames, or crashing. We have mounted ours in our server rack and we run the HDMI to a monitor that sits off to the side. We use a USB mouse with an extension for control and often times we use one of our network PCs to control the unit as well. We would recommend this DVR to anyone else seeking a quality yet economically priced 32 channel unit.

Review by Tim Swanson, C.D. Racetrack and Casino on Dec 18, 2012
We have purchased this DVR for use monitoring our racetrack operations and stables (we also purchased 2 Ultimate DVRS for our casino which I intend to write a review for as well). The unit does an excellent job of managing the cameras and recording all 32 cameras simultaneously at CIF resolution. The unit is located in our stable office and we use the cameras for the purpose of security as well as to monitor the horses. We even record audio on some of our security applications and in the sick bay. We probably make use of the display options more so than most users and I can tell you that each one works very well. I'm not exactly sure how the guys have made the connections but we do have monitors all over the place and they are all working well and demonstrate high quality. We have no need for the DVD burner so we have maxed out our internal hard drive potential to reduce recording overwrite times as we record continuously. When we are getting close to full capacity on our drives we "dump" them to a special compress storage hardware system for permanent archiving. This DVR is a professional unit and performs all of its functions with ease. We've never had to reboot it yet and we have never had any crashes.

I doubt many people would require this DVR for home use, although I'm sure it is possible. Regardless of whether it is used there or commercially, this is a very good DVR. It's not easy to keep track of the 32 camera recordings, even if you're a computer, and we haven't had to do a single reboot since we've owned this machine. We do record 28 channels at CIF resolution at 30 frames per second and the other 4 (Channels 1, 9, 17, and 25) at 704 X 480 (D1) resolution at 30 frames per second and it handles the work load just fine. I do have one suggestion though especially for those who may intend to use this unit to record around the clock. Purchase the largest hard drive you can get, skip the DVD burner and order additional internal hard drives so you won't have to worry about recording turn around times. 32 channels of recording at high quality even at CIF takes a considerable amount of storage space so by purchasing everything at the time of purchase of your DVR you will already have everything available to you when you receive it. As far as this DVR is concerned, it does a great job and has plenty of additional electronic features. HDMI is the way to go for the monitor as it allows high definition viewing and audio with just one connection. The DVR can be controlled by the buttons on the front panel or by an on screen display menu system. Security Camera King includes a USB mouse and an infrared remote control for this purpose.

This DVR is an excellent performing digital video recorder. The price is suitable, but more importantly for me the quality of the DVR seems to be unparalleled. In addition to the high fidelity video recordings that is creates the DVR comes with a whole host of additional features. We use this DVR at our local home improvement/hardware store primarily to provide shop lifting protection and exterior building surveillance and it does an excellent job! The display resolution of CIF on 28 of the channels is sufficient enough for shoplifting prevention while the four channels that can record D1 at 30 frames per second are used specifically for our check out counters area. We also make use of the alarm funtions by installing triggers at the appropriate places throught the store. Alarm outputs include a local siren and light as well as a relay that controls a signal sent to a local monitoring company. We don't make use of the audio recording feature as we feel that we have no immediate use for it at this time. The DVR is located in the manager's office and is connected to a large screen LCD/LED TV by using a single HDMI cable. We also have our unit connected to our broadband Internet service so we can remotely access and monitor the unit anytime we wan using either our smartphones or our personal computers. Your support staff was extremely helpful when we called. They are smart, patient, and cordial and they know your products well. Furthermore, they were dedicated to the job of getting us all set up and running. We'll return to Security Camera King in the future for more quality Security Surveillance supplies.
