These days you can purchase LCD monitors rather cheap, usually for less than $300 or $400 dollars so this monitor is rather pricey. However, the one thing this monitor has that most modern day LCD or LED monitors don't have is a BNC hook up which is a standard camera type connector for most CCTV security systems. It also comes with speakers so if you want to run audio through it you can. The monitor itself is clear, color correct, and is of high resolution, but unless you specifically need the BNC hook up (and most Security Camera King DVRS come with either optional VGA and HDMI hookups) I would suggest using a regular TV from Wal-Mart or similar.

I purchased this monitor to accompany my Elite Series 8 camera system. It works great, the display is clear, crisp, and concise. I would recommend this monitor if you are looking for a dedicated security monitor.

I ordered two of these for our security guard station in our building. We actually have two separate systems that are monitored 24/7 by our security guards. The staff says they are just the right size for a desktop; they're not to large to make looking beyond the desk top possible and the are not to small to make viewing all the cameras difficult.
