Does the job! Use this receiver with the transmitter or use individual active balun transmitters and you can send 4 different cameras through just one single CAT5 cable for a long, long ways. It has an RJ45 connector or individual wire connectors. This saved me a lot of hassle on a recent job that required some pretty long wiring.

This 4 channel Active Balun Receiver used with the 4 channel Active Balun Transmitter is an excellent solution to maintaining the integrity of video for exceptionally long cable runs. Our company has a team track yard in back of the plant that needs to be monitored 24/7. However, it is quite long and expansive in area so installing a whole system out there wouldn't make much sense. We tried making cable runs to the cameras from our security office but the signals were just too week and somewhat distorted. We decided to give this and the transmitter a try and it worked perfectly! Signal strength was restored and resolution and clarity was excellent. If you have an unusually long cable run and need a signal boost this is certainly the answer.
