This Security Camera King 4 Channel Active Balun Transmitter (and Receiver) work great for boosting and preserving your video signals and allowing you to use just one CAT5 cable for all four cameras (instead of 4 separate cables for example). Our cameras are mounted in locations that are relatively close together so we also use the 4 Channel Active receiver on the other end. Not only does this device save cable and keep installation neat and clean but I think it actually may improve the signal a bit.

We've got 4 cameras in our location that have extremely long cable runs. Our building is relatively new and was built with pre-wired Cat 5 cable. Installing the Security Camera King cameras was easy but the cable runs were going to be close to impossible. With this 4 Channel Active balun transmitter (and receiver) our problem was solved. No need to use coaxial cable and the signal is just as clear as it could be. This worked out to be a tremendous time and money saver for us.

This 4 channel Active Balun Transmitter used with the 4 channel Active Balun Receiver is an excellent solution to maintaining the integrity of video for exceptionally long cable runs. Our company has a team track yard in back of the plant that needs to be monitored 24/7. However, it is quite long and expansive in area so installing a whole system out there wouldn't make much sense. We tried making cable runs to the cameras from our security office but the signals were just too week and somewhat distorted. We decided to give this and the receiver a try and it worked perfectly! Signal strength was restored and resolution and clarity was excellent. If you have an unusually long cable run and need a signal boost this is certainly the answer.
