This 4 channel ACTIVE video balun transmitter is used to transmit video from CCTV cameras over UTP CAT5 cable for long distances that exceed the capabilities of passive video baluns. With this Active 4 channel balun, you can connect 4 CCTV cameras with the BNC inputs, then transmit the video over a single cat 5 cable up to 1500 meters (almost 5000 feet) if only using passive baluns on the other end of the run, or up to 2400 meters (8000 feet) if you have the Active baluns on the other end.
