Works good. It's a little outdated for most SUVs these days because so many come with these built right in. My son purchased this for me and installed it on my 1984 pickup so I could see easier when backing up. I have had neck surgery and with some of the bones now fused it is difficult to look back when backing up and the camera helps me to prevent bumping into other things while I am in reverse.

Not a bad camera but it needs to come with some monitor options like the mirrors with monitors built into them.

This is a pretty good camera and the price is reasonable. I put this on my trailer and it makes seeing behind, especially when I back up, extremely easy. The infrared mode is nice for night time parking.

Security Camera King's 420 TVL Rear View Surveillance camera is a nice feature for use on equipment like bulldozers, backhoes, and other large construction equipment, but it is also nice to use on your car, truck, or camper. I know most luxury SUVs and cars come with these things these days so you would think that this might make this camera obsolete but instead it's made me more aware that they exist so I bought one to use on my camper. This camera even has infrared capability so you can see in darker conditions even if your back-up lights don't light the area enough behind you. It runs off regular car voltage and has a really wide angle shot so you can see where to back up to and to know if there is anything behind you before you back up.

My wife and I are retired and we do a lot of traveling across the country, especially to visit with our kids who are scattered from coast to coast. We generally use our camper to travel, often towing our smaller car behind. I installed this camera on the rear of the camper a few feet up from the bumper so as to get a clear shot behind me even when I'm towing our car. The camera works great, helps me to see what's behind me in the "blind spots" and is excellent for use when parking the camper (especially backing up). The infrared LEDs are a nice feature too, allowing you to see in the dark, whether your back-up lights are on or not.

I guess with the luxury SUVs and such that have these things built in, this camera may not be as popular as it one was. But I am a long haul over the road truck driver and I installed this on the back of my trailer. It not only helps me see behind me when I'm running but I can keep an eye on the back of my 42 foot trailer when I'm at rest stops or parked at other places. I also like the infrared LEDs that illuminate for night time pictures. Makes it even easier to keep track of what's going on behind me when I'm idle in the evening. The only thing I had to do was purchase some extra cable so I could run a line from the camera to my laptop/monitor in the cab.

I installed this on the back of my pickup. I do a lot of fresh water fishing from my fishing boat. Quite often I go fishing alone. This camera has made putting my boat in the water extremely easy. It also helps when I need to hitch the trailer to the pickup. It even has Infrared LEDs for nighttime use, which I do often by the time I am ready to quit fishing. If you don't already have one of these I recommend you get one.

I purchased this camera for our motor-home/camper. It has an excellent wide view and produces a clear, concise image of what is behind me. It's great for backing up and parking. It was easy to mount and hook up. I'd recommend this for anyone with a large vehicle as an additional maneuvering aid.

My brother-in-law bought a brand new car with on of these cameras built right into the car. When I saw how well it worked, I had to get one for our SUV. We live in a cul-de-sac and we have a lot of young children, including our own outside playing. This makes it easier to see behind when backing up and I know both my wife and I are very satisfied with it. If you want to save your neck muscles and still see everything behind you, I highly recommend you get one of these.

I cant believe how useful this is.
