Good basic camera for overview shots. Infrared mode works good too. No OSD of course so don't expect anything too fancy with this camera, but it still produces a good recording.

Nothing particularly fancy or complicated about features or options with this camera, but for the price and resolution, it really produces a pretty good video recording. Everything about it is automatic so you basically just mount it and let it work. It automatically switches to infrared mode when a CDS cell in the lens LED array senses low light situations. It not only starts recording in infrared (monochrome or black and white) but it also automatically turns the infrared LEDs on as well. It has a fixed 3.6mm wide angle lens and the infrared LEDs will reach about 60 feet.

This camera provides decent video quality day and night. It is a nearly unbeatable value and it just works.

This is also our "go to " camera for about the same reasons as the previous review. Many of our customers, especially residential, don't really need anything fancy. This camera mounts extremely easy and requires no maintenance. Once it is in place all you have to do is aim it. The mounting screws are hidden by the mount design and if your system is working properly, you should see/or know if someone is trying to remove or disable it especially by the time the remove the casing ring. This probably really is the best value on the market. The picture is clear, sharp, and color correct and even the infrared monochrome video is sharp.

This is our go to camera for environments where we need versatility. The fixed lens does a great job of capturing a wide angle shot with great clarity. The swivel vandal proof mount makes it easy to position and we rest assured knowing it will take a thief some time to get this thing down.

There's not a whole lot to say about this camera other than it has a great picture for the price. Incredible value. With 600 TVL color resolution and an infrared mode with built in IR LEDs that give it a 60 foot range, you couldn't ask for much more for the price!

There are a lot of people selling security camera systems these days. In fact there are a ton of sites on line that are selling security cameras these days. It would appear as though we are keeping the Asian workforce pretty well employed! As an installer I've seen many of these systems and components come and go before me, and I must say that as time goes on, I am getting more and more customers that purchase their own equipment first, then ask me to install it. I don't mind most of the time, but from time to time this can be a real frustration because the systems they purchase are the cheapest quality junk that the parts are even difficult to install properly. That leads me to this Security Camera King camera. It's not fancy and doesn't have any On Screen Display features and such, but I've got to tell you that it really works great for the price! It's got a 600 TVL color resolution that automatically switches over to infrared mode when it gets too dark and turns on its own built in infrared LEDs. Plus you get up to about 60 feet of infrared range with this thing. This camera has a CMOS and for whatever reason I'm more partial to CCDs but the video quality of this camera is still very good. Even though there is nothing fancy about it, it is robust - it can handle the outdoors just as good as the indoors. In my own personal opinion, you can find a lot of different cameras (domes) out there that are cheaper I'm sure, but I don't think you'll ever find one that gives as good a picture as this one for the price. If you do, let me know!

This is a basic vandal resistant dome camera that Security Camera offers as the standard with all of the package deals. There's not a whole lot to be said about the camera because it is pretty basic and doesn't have a lot of extra features. Just the same, the 600 TVL resolution that the OD-CM600IR50-B offers is still a high quality high resolution video picture. The camera comes with a fixed 3.6 mm lens so wide angle or overview is the only option here. This camera also has an infrared mode that is also automatic, when the CDS cell senses the light is low enough the infrared mode automatically switches on turning on the built in LED illuminators and switching the camera over to black and white infrared mode. The listed range is about 60 feet although I don't have mine set up to go that far so I can't exactly attest to the range maximum. I can say however, that for the price, it is a very good camera!

Good picture, good price. Infrared works good too. I actually get a little under the 60 foot infrared range listed for the camera.

You can't get much more simple than this. But also, to be fair, you can't get much cheaper in price than this either. This is Security Camera King's least expensive vandal dome and it is the one that comes with most of their package deals. The video picture really isn't bad for a basic camera, of course I think the picture quality is greatly enhanced since the camera does have a resolution of 600 TVL. The infrared mode works pretty well and comes on automatically at light levels below about 10 LUX and the built in infrared LEDs will give you about a 50 to 60 foot range in total darkness. We had a little problem with these in two of our rooms; as it turns out it was due to our fluorescent lights. We were able to correct the situation though by pulling a couple of the fluorescent bulbs.
