*****This is a discontinued Product*******The OD-LX600IR50-W is an extremely versatile security camera. This camera features a brand new Easy-Mount design in a white case that will blend in with most environments. It features a 1/3" inch CCD with a 3.6mm lens. This security camera can be mounted indoors or outdoors, is weatherproof and can withstand almost any temperature. With 600tvl and a 3.6mm lens you can expect outstanding and detailed overviews. This camera is a pretty good buy for the price. The 600 TVl resolution creates a pretty fine detailed video. The infrared mode works well too, and I find a get really good shots at as much as 50 feet and a lot more if there is some ambient light. I probably order this camera from you more often than any other for straightforward residential installs. Unless there are unusual lighting conditions or a special environment, many residential customers don't need a camera with and on screed display anyway, but they do want the high resolution picture. The camera is easy to install and has a fixed 3.6 mm lens which makes it a good choice for wide angle and overview shots.

I recently purchased one of Security Camera Kings security system packages and upgraded my cameras to the OD-LX600IR50-W, 600 TVL White Indoor/Outdoor IR Vandal Resistant Dome Security Camera. Like Security Camera King's description says it is an extremely versatile camera. I like it and it works fine for my purposes. Here is what I consider some unbiased pros and cons for future purchasers to consider:
Pros
-Easy to mount (just a few screws)
-Can be used indoors and outdoors
-600 TVL resolution
-Good Infrared video with about a 60 foot range using on board infrared LEDs
-Great price for quality of the video
Cons
-only comes in one color (white)
-no On Screen Display (OSD) for set ups or making adjustments
-3.6 mm lens provides great wide shots but it is difficult to obtain a close up or tight shot

If you buy a system or are looking to buy just basic cameras this has got to be the one. The price is very competitive and the quality is excellent. This vandal resistant dome camera mounts easily with just a few screws (I even mounted some in my particle board like drop ceiling). The OD-LX600IR50-W produces a great color video, especially at 600 TVL and the LEDs give a solid 50 feet (in some instances 70 feet or more) range of infrared mode operation. Further, the camera is simple to operate with no series of on screen menus to click through. Basically just mount, connect, and go.

I read many of the reviews of your cameras, especially the lower resolution 450 TVL camera. I had a very old security system which I completely replaced, and it's camera's resolution was 450 TVL which was state of the art at the time I purchased it. For $20 more a camera, I figured it couldn't hurt to upgrade to this 600 TVL. What a difference! This camera is light, easy to mount and can be mounted just about anywhere. It provides good quality resolution with color correct, clear video. The only negative, if there is one, is that it doesn't include an on screen display menu system for setup and camera changes. However, if you are purchasing a package system, I would definitely recommend that you upgrade to this camera. It is definitely worth the few extra bucks.

This is a sweet camera. It works great and it's fairly inexpensive considering the fact that it has a 600 TVL resolution. It was really easy to install and it works great!
