This is a great camera for the price! 650 TVL resolution in day mode which is crisp, clear color, and 700 TVL resolution in night mode which is infrared black and white with every bit as much of detail. As for mounting, the whole camera only requires two screws - that's it! Of course you need to provide the exit hole for the cable in the mounting surface. Once the camera is mounted you can adjust he 2.8 to 12 mm lens for a wide angle, overview shot or zoom in to get a close tighter view. When you're satisfied with the zoom setting you can adjust the focus. Both of these settings are manual and are done using a small flat screwdriver on the outside casing of the camera. The camera also comes with wide dynamic range and other video enhancing features that help to eliminate problems from shadows, back lighting, etc. These features are set using an on screen display menu system that is controlled by a button-joystick type controller that is built into the camera cable. I don't think you can find a better value for a varifocal 650 TVL camera.

I bought a Security Camera King package DVR system a few weeks ago but upgraded my cameras to the 650 TVL Indoor/Outdoor Varifocal Vandal Resistant Dome Security Camera, OD-LX650IR100L2812-B. Although it's pricier, the advantages are well worth it. I installed my package system myself and never thought when I was ordering it about what kind of view I would get from the camera or where I would need to mount or place them. The 650 TVL resolution is a pretty detailed video picture and the color is pretty close to real. The camera has an on screen display menu that allows the user to adjust the settings and it also includes an in-line joystick for setting up the camera. With the varifocal lens, I don't have to worry much about how close or far I place the camera as it allows me to adjust the shot from wide to tight. This camera also has some pretty powerful infrared LEDs that give me very close to the full 100 foot range listed in the manufactures specs. And with the 650 TVL infrared is sharper and more detailed too. I would recommend this camera to your other customers, especially as an upgrade to your system package deals.

I recently purchases and 8 channel Ultimate video security camera system from you and I upgraded four of the cameras to this model to use outside. After seeing how well they work, I wish I just would have upgraded all eight cameras to this model. It is very easy to install and set up especially with the on screen display menu choices. The wide dynamic range compensates well for drastic changes in light. I get excellent range and clarity of video at night while it operate in the infrared mode. Good camera at an affordable price.
