Not a bad true day/night dome camera. the 700 TVL resolution captures nice detail and the camera over all records a nice color video picture. The price isn't too bad considering it is a true day/night camera but it could be much better if it had a varifocal lens. Low light sensitivity is pretty good with good coverage at very low LUX conditions.

This is an excellent true day/night camera for the price. The camera itself is small, light and easy to mount (you can mount this on drop ceiling without any problem). The image reproduction is very impressive for the cost of the camera and especially the fact that it has a resolution of 700TVL. The camera has its own on screen display to control functions. Very Nice.

Great inexpensive dome camera - Good color

Security Camera King's 700 TVL day/night indoor dome security camera is a very good indoor camera that is pretty sensitive to low light conditions. It produces a crisp, clear picture with very accurate color results. The camera has an on screen display menu system that allows you to adjust settings to your specific environment.

We recently bought a couple of these 7000 TVL day/night indoor dome security cameras to go along with our Security Camera King surveillance system we purchased. We've had some vandalism occurring at one of our satellite volunteer fire department stations and thought it was about time to get a security camera system to protect the gear. We use two of these cameras inside and they work great. First the 700 TVL resolution is amazing clear and fine. Also, we always have some small light on inside the firehouse even when no one is present so these cameras are able to use that light just as well as full day light to produce a low light color video. The camera also has an on screen display menu system that allows you to adjust many features that further enhance your video recording with the camera. Works good for us and the price is right!

We recently purchased these cameras from Security Camera King to accompany our pre-existing security camera surveillance system. We use these cameras to monitor our both our indoor pool and gym areas as well as our concierge's desk in our lobby area. The ID-EF700 provides a very high resolution image with lots of fine detail and a good overview shot which is exactly what we are looking for. Lighting is never a problem for us as we always have either full lighting or at leas some ambient light and this camera is able to operate very well in extremely low light environments. The camera was easy to install and the on screen display menu system allows you to make adjustments to the extra electronic features that enhance the cameras performance. This is an excellent camera for the cost and I would rate it at five stars.

I use this camera in several places throughout my store (indoors) to provide an excellent, high resolution overview shot. The camera is surprisingly light weight and mounts very easily to just about any surface. It is especially useful because I found I could mount it to my hanging ceiling panels without any difficulty (like pulling out of the surface). In fact when it comes to mounting or installing the most difficult task with this camera is running the cable for it. Not that this camera is any harder to cable than any other camera, it's just that it is very easy to mount. The quality of the picture produced by this 700 TVL resolution camera is amazing. No cheap, blurry black and white images like you often see on those shows on TV. This camera produces a sharp, clear, color correct video. Although it doesn't have any infrared LEDs, it really doesn't need them, especially if you use it inside where there will always be at least a little ambient light. The benefit of this is a true color video in dark conditions instead of the black and white video produced by infrared cameras. The camera has an on screen display menu system that makes adjustment settings easy to change. Of course it works very well with my Security Camera King DVR.

If you purchase a Security Camera King security camera package and you own a retail store that normally keeps some sort of low light on an night, I'd suggest you upgrade your cameras to the 700 TVL Day/Night Indoor Dome Security Cameras, it's well worth the few extra dollars to do so. First of all the 700 TVL resolution is outrageously good and if you have no need for infrared cameras (hence the low light at night inside) the picture stays good 24 hours a day. The ID-EF700 is a good all around camera, but it is especially good as an overview camera because the shot is pretty wide. It has lots of settings/features that allow you to adjust the video capture to your particular conditions. Would I recommend this product to other customers? Sure!

Your ID-EF700 700 TVL Day/Night Indoor Dome Security Camera is excellent for high resolution overview shots. The picture clarity is impeccable and the color is right on. The field of view of this camera is pretty wide so if you are shopping for something with a tighter shot to use on close ups like cash registers for example, you may want to consider a different camera. I can't believe how light it is and it mounts very easily. This camera is great for stores that normally keep some minimal lighting on even when closed because the extreme light sensitivity will provide a clear color shot much better than infrared. Nice camera, operates well, I would recommend it!
