This is definitely the best value of our camera line up. This security camera can be used indoors or outdoors. Using a 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD and the Enhanced Effio-E you get a terrific 700tvl and can see in complete darkness up to 60 feet with the built in infrared illumination which turn on automatically in low light. It has a 3.6mm fixed lens for great wide angle overview shots. This is the most versatile overview camera in our line up. It has the newest DSP available and the OSD will allow you to configure many different settings including ATR (Wide Dynamic Range) which will allow you to use this camera even when there are bright lights and shade in the same view, like store front windows, doorways and entrances. If you are looking for the best possible overview value, this is the best security camera for the job. This security camera is very small and because it is white, it will compliment most environments.

I bought this camera to replace a broken one in my system that came from another manufacturer. After installing this one, I came back today to buy more. I'm pulling all of them and replacing them with this one.

This is a great little camera for the price. I would recommend upgrading to this camera if you are ever considering the 600 TVL dome whether you are purchasing one individually or an entire Security Camera King system package. For $24 more this camera is worth the price and your recording and viewing experience will be even better. The camera just has a lot of "good" things about it. First it records at a resolution of 700 TVL which, basically, is the top of the analog camera resolutions, at least for the time being. The heart of the electronics is the Sony Super HAD II CCD with the Effio-E digital signal processor which yields great video reproduction, especially in trueness of color. The camera comes with a fixed 3.6mm wide angle or overview lens which is usually good enough for many security applications and it has an automatic infrared mode that records in black and white and turns on the infrared LED illuminators as needed. The LEDs have a range of about 60 feet but you can extend that if you need to with additional illuminators or by the camera picking up LED illumination from other cameras "down the road." Finally the camera does have and On Screen Display (OSD) menu that will allow you to adjust some settings, including Sony's ATR or automatic Tone Reproduction which is basically the same thing as wide dynamic range. The OSD controller is a joystick type button device built right into the video cable of the camera.
This is a robust vandal proof dome camera that provides good video in bright conditions or in pitch darkness. Get some siamese video/power cable and some crimp on BNC connectors and you're good to go.

This is a pretty good camera. I purchased a few of these from Security Camera King a few months ago and the having been working fine with no problems. The 700 TVL color/infrared black and white resolution definitely provides a nice detailed, clear, recorded video. I'm a big fan of the Sony Super HAD II CCD with the Effio-E digital signal processor, I think it's one of the better CCD/chip combinations on the market. This camera also has an On Screen Display (OSD) menu that allows you to make adjustments to enhance video recordings. It does have wide dynamic range only Sony calls it Automatic Tone Reproduction or ATR. The OSD control is a button like joystick built right into the cameras exiting video and power cable. This camera is a little smaller than the average but still does a good job. It has a 3.6mm fixed lens for wide angle overview shots. I would recommend it to others.
I recently purchased a Security Camera King Ultimate package and had it installed in my store. We upgraded all 8 cameras to the Security Camera King 700 TVL Indoor/Outdoor Vandal Resistant Dome Security Camera and it has excellent quality. Our recorded video is very clear and sharp (not fuzzy or with a bunch of lines it like you see on may systems) and the cameras are working great. After everything was in place, the technician was kind enough to show us how to adjust the cameras including the On Screen Display menu (there's a moveable button thing on the cord for this.) I like the white color too, it blends in better with the ceiling so the camera doesn't look so obtrusive.

It was time for an over haul of our security camera system. We used to have one of those Geovision systems that was actually a PCI card that you install in a PC. My old computer wasn't the best, but it still used to bog it down when I wanted to use it for other things. The computer died and I let the security camera system go with it. I purchased a Security Camera King security camera system and upgraded all of my cameras to these 700 TVL Indoor/Outdoor Vandal Resistant Dome Cameras. My system basically covers the outside of my home so I don't really need anything particularly fancy, don't really even need a varifocal lens. However, I do like the fine resolution of this 700 TVL color resolution cameras with their D1 resolution recording on my Ultimate DVR. These cameras do come with an On Screen Display though and that does help with enhancing the shot on most of my cameras. The way my house sits in relationship to the rising and setting sun it's pretty hard to get all the cameras to give you a good shot without encountering and lighting difficulties. The OSD contains a bunch of features, some are better than others but here are some that are included: Shutter speed, automatic gain control, digital wide dynamic range, back light compensation, motion detection in 4 areas, and privacy masking. The OSD is manipulated with a built in button joystick that is located on the camera's video cable. I'm really liking them so far.

I don't how you couldn't like this camera for the low price! Not to mention that even at that low price you still get a Sony Super HADII CCD sensor with the Effio-E digital signal processor. (Sony has their act together on that one. And for that matter, so does Security Camera King for offering the camera at such a competitive rate!) The camera has a fixed 3.6mm lens so this is a wide angle overview camera but with the 700 TVL color resolution and the Sony chips it produces some pretty fine detail just the same. Even though the camera is an infrared camera, it is still pretty sensitive to low light conditions too before the IR mode comes on. Here's the kicker, for a price tag of $69.95 and this camera even has an OSD! You can experiment with the features via the OSD to maximize your shot, and that includes Sony's Automatic Tone Reproduction (basically wide dynamic range to the rest of us). The OSD is controlled by a built in button joystick on the camera's cable line. Security Camera King's package system deals are good, but I would up grade to this camera from the 600 TVL camera they offer in the package deal any day!

Here's the short of it: It's a great camera with a ultra high 700 TVL color resolution video picture. I don't know why, but for some reason this camera's looks reminds me of the drones white helmets in the Star Wars movie. The corollary here is that it is every bit as high tech. Although the camera is easy to install and operate, there really is some high technological science going on behind it. The 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD with the Effio-E digital signal process makes for one very good quality video recording. It has its own built in infrared LEDs that switch on and off automatically along with placing the camera in infrared mode automatically, and it has a total darkness infrared range of about 60 feet out from the camera! The camera also comes with an On Screen Display menu that can be operated by a joystick button built right into the video cable line! You can control all sorts of features to enhance your video recording with the OSD such as shutter speed, automatic gain control, digital wide dynamic range, back light compensation, color or black and white recording, motions detection and even privacy zones assignment. It's real easy to install. Screw in the screws, connect the power, connect the video, adjust the OSD and presto! Time to catch a thief!
