There's not much to say about this BNC to VGA monitor converter. It converts BNC over to VGA with very good quality like I have come to expect coming from Security Camera King. Although all of SCK's DVRs now come with at least a BNC and VGA connection, this device probably won't be used much. However, we do have an older system that only has BNC outputs and this converter works great for it allowing us to use the newer LCD TV/monitors with a VGA connection.

Our company recently went through a major computer overhaul for our employees. We had really got our fair share of use out of our old computers. We had PCs using Windows 2000 and we replaced them all with new PCs and Windows 7 -- that included replacing the old CRT monitors with LCDs. We were going to trash (send to the recycler) all our system components until our CCTV security camera installer told us you had these converters. We used our old CRT VGA monitors on each floor of our building as local spot monitors now. We couldn't do that before because they had no BNC connections and we couldn't get an authorization to spend the money on new monitors. These work great!

We have an older LCD projector that we would like to use as a monitor but it has no BNC fitting; however it does have a VGA port as it was originally designed to project a computer display on the wall. This converter was just what we needed. Now we can use the older LCD projector as our monitor. This was a good save!

I never realized that BNC connectors could be converted to VGA type connections. This converter works great and has allowed me to use our otherwise unused computer monitors as spot monitors for our video security systems. I recommend this to anyone that has a decent VGA type monitor that is still good and could use it on their security system.

We had two older VGA computer monitors that I was getting ready to trash when I found this. Now they are working as security spot monitors. It's a great idea and saves money on purchasing new monitors too.
