The Elite Series DVR comes with an embedded version of Linux OS. It also features remote monitoring, which allows you to view your cameras from anywhere in the world, via a computer and internet; audio recording and h.264 compression.
The Elite Series DVR is not a PC based DVR, which can be infected by computer viruses or hacked. This DVR was made for one purpose; to provide you with the best quality video.
Our Elite Series DVR is extremely versatile; with the VGA, BNC and HDMI video outs, you can several different monitors all at the same time. The Elite Series DVR also comes with a Matrix Output, which allows you to run a different monitor, which can be programmed to show a totally different series of cameras. And, with the built-in Loop Connectors, you can output a single camera to its own monitor. Plus, each channel has its very own BNC output which can be used to provide video to a multiplexer or monitor.
Our Elite Series DVR uses H.264 hardware compression, which allows the DVR provide you with the best quality video, while at the same time, maximizing your hard disk storage space. The DVR also has the ability to record CIF resolution on all channels at 30FPS (Frames Per Second), while channel 1 is capable of recording up to D1 at 30FPS (Frames Per Second). This will allow you to capture high levels of detail and picture, which is ideal for high traffic areas or areas that you deem important, such as, back doors, ATM machines, gas pumps and cash registers. The DVR also has the ability to record D1 on all channels at 7FPS (Frames Per Second).
The Elite Series DVR is extremely easy to setup and operate. The mouse-driven interface provides you with very simple point-and-click control over every function of the DVR. The DVR also comes with an IR Remote which allows you to operate the DVR as well. The Elite Series DVR comes with a Jog Shuttle, which allows you to fast forward, rewind and advance search frame by frame with ease. Up to 4 Channels can be reviewed simultaneously.
The Elite Series DVR has a built-in web server, which allows you to access your DVR and perform most of the functions remotely with Internet Explorer. With our client software, you can monitor and control multiple Elite Series DVRs at the same time. It also comes equipped with Two-Way audio, which gives you the ability to hear everything and even interact with anyone that's near the microphone. The Elite Series DVR supports up to 10 network or internet users simultaneously. And with Dynamic DNS support, you don't need to get a static IP from you ISP (Internet Service Provider) in order to access your DVR remotely. This will save you money, due to the fact that most ISP's charge an additional fee for a Static IP Address.
The Elite Series DVR has the ability to e-mail you anywhere, based on the criteria that you setup in the DVR, so even if you're not by a computer, you can still stay up-to-date with your DVR system. All you have to do is setup a POP e-mail account and then configure the DVR to e-mail you there�that simple!
Our Elite Series DVR System has the capability to hold 4 SATA Hard Drive and no DVD burner or you can have 3 SATA Hard Drives and 1 DVD Burner, the choice is yours. The DVR also supports eSATA, which allows you to content an external hard drive to store footage or to use as a backup drive. The Elite Series DVR also has RAID Hard Drisk Management, which will help keep all of your data safe in case of a hard drive failure. You can also use perform FTP backups and recording.
The Elite Mini HD Series DVR system offer PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) controls, which allows you to control any of our PTZ cameras. All you do is click on the screen, drag your mouse around and the camera follows the mouse pointer, it's that simple!
