This is a complete package that includes everything you need for a 4 channel Elite Mini Economy Series security camera system. A Monitor is not required to use this system, but you will need a monitor to do the initial setup. Once the system has been successfully installed and configured, the monitor can be removed and all access to the system can be done through the network.
The main difference between or Elite-Mini-HD Series and this economy series is that this Economy Series does not have HDMI video output (only VGA and BNC), it has only one audio input, and it has no alarm inputs/outputs. Otherwise the functionality of the units is very similar to the Elite-Mini-HD DVRs.

It also features H.264 Video Compression, audio recording and coupled with our remote monitoring application, you can view your cameras from anywhere in the world. The Elite Mini Economy Series DVR has VGA and BNC video outputs, which allow you to operate multiple monitors at the same time; you can even hook this up to a plasma, LCD or LED TV and view your cameras.
Our Elite Mini Economy Series DVR utilizes H.264 hardware compression, which delivers great quality video while at the same time maximizing your hard drive storage capacity. This DVR provides you with the maximum in recording versatility by enabling you to record CIF (352x240) resolution at 30FPS (Frames per Second) on all channels. The Elite Mini Economy Series DVR also allows you to record D1 at 7FPS on all channels simultaneously. Each channel can be configured independantly allowing for maximum flexibility when it comes to frame rate and resolution.
Our Elite Mini Economy DVR System is very easy to setup and operate. Our interface is mouse-driven which provides you with easy, point-and-click control over all functions and settings within the DVR. The DVR also comes with an IR remote, which allows you to setup your DVR, fast forward, rewind, and advance frame by frame, you can also use the front panel interface on the DVR itself to fast forward, rewind, and advance frame by frame. This DVR also allows you to playback up to 4 channels at the same time at the DVR and up to 4 channels can be played back using our web interface or our client software.
Our Elite Mini Economy Series DVRs come with a built-in web server. This allows you to perform almost every function of your DVR remotely with Internet Explorer. Included with the DVR is a copy of our Client Software, which allows you to control multiple Elite Mini Economy Series DVR units simultaneously. This DVR also come equipped with Two-Way Audio over the network or internet, so not only can you hear everything that's going on, but you can interact! This DVR supports up to 10 network and or internet users simultaneously and with Dynamic DNS support, there's no need to purchase a static IP for your ISP (Internet Service Provider), thus saving you money, because most ISP's charge an additional fee for static IP addresses.
The Elite Mini Economy Series DVR allows you to setup a POP (Post Office Protocol) e-mail account and the DVR will e-mail you based on the criteria you setup in the DVR, so even if you're on the road, you can be alerted to anything that's going on at home or the office. Think about the benefits of being able to email upon events occuring.
The Elite Mini Economy Series DVR only supports 1 SATA Hard Drive, but with up to 2TB or hard drive space, you will have plenty of storage space. Due to the slim design of this DVR, it doesn't support an internal DVD Burner, but with the built-in USB port, you can easily back-up your DVR with a USB Flash drive. You can also back-up your DVR right on your PC via the FTP back-up system.
This system runs on a rock solid Linux embedded OS, with embedded web server, and digital signal processors to bring you the most powerful network-based digital video recorder available. This high end system will provide you with everything you need other than a monitor. If you tie the system into your network, you wont even need a monitor to view your DVR.
