This system includes everything you will need to install this 8 Channel Ultimate Series Surveillance System. This system doesn't come with a VGA monitor, although you will need a monitor during the initial install of the system, once the install is complete the monitor can be removed, as it's not required for normal operation of the system.

Our Ultimate Series DVR features an embedded version of Linux OS. It also comes equipped with audio recording on all channels, H.264 compression and remote monitoring from anywhere via the internet explorer. This isn't a PC based DVR, which are subject to computer viruses and hacking; it's a standalone DVR and was built for one purpose.

Our Ultimate Series DVR is a very versatile DVR. It comes equipped with BNC, VGA and HDMI video outputs, which allows you to operate several monitors all at the same time. The DVR also comes equipped with a Matrix output, which enables you to use a separate monitor that you can program to display a totally different series of cameras. With the built-in loop, you can output a single camera to its very own monitor. In addition to all of this, every channel has its own BNC output, which allows you to provide video to a monitor or multiplexer.

The Ultimate Series DVR comes equipped with the ability to record CIF or D1 on every channel! Yes, that's correct, you can record 704x480 at 30FPS (Frames per Second) on every channel simultaneously. This is IDEAL for use in banks, gas stations, parking garages or anywhere else that requires higher levels of resolution.

Our Ultimate Series DVR is very simple and easy to setup and operate. Our Ultimate Series DVR uses a mouse-driven interface, which provides you with point-and-click control over every function and setting within the DVR. The DVR also comes with an IR remote, which allows you to control the settings within the DVR. The Ultimate Series DVR also has a Jog Dial, which allows you to quickly rewind, fast forward, and advance frame by frame right at the DVR. You can playback up to 8 channels at the same time at the DVR and you can playback up to 4 channels with our web interface, client software or our smart phone application.

The Ultimate Series DVR has a built-in web server that allows you to control almost every function of the DVR remotely with Internet Explorer. We also include our client software, which gives you the ability to monitor and control multiple Ultimate Series DVRs all at the same time. With the Two-Way audio over the network or internet, you can not only listen to everything going on, but you can communicate with everyone as well. The Ultimate Series DVR supports up to 10 internet user or network users simultaneously. The DVR also supports Dynamic DNS, which means you don't need a static IP Address, which saves you money, because most ISPs (Internet Service Providers) charge an additional fee for static IP Addresses.

With the Ultimate Series DVR you have the ability to receive e-mail notifications from your DVR. All you need is a POP e-mail address and then configure the DVR to e-mail you updates to the POP e-mail address and that's it! So even if you're on the road, you'll never be far from you're DVR.

Storage will never be an issue with the Ultimate Series DVR. The DVR can hold up to 8 SATA hard drives if no DVD burner is installed or it can hold up to 6 hard drives and 1 DVD burner. The DVR also supports eSATA, which allows you to connect an external eSATA hard drive to store or backup your video footage. The DVR also has RAID hard disk management which keeps your data safe in case of a hard drive failure. You can also perform FTP backups and recording.

Video can be backed up to a DVD-RW or a USB thumb drive for safe keeping or in the event that you must give the footage to the police. Video can also be saved right on your PC for easy access.

The easy 3D mouse operated PTZ control allows you to control any PTZ camera. Just click on the screen and drag your mouse around. The PTZ camera follows the mouse pointer so you can smoothly and accurately follow any objects of interest.

This system runs on a rock solid Linux embedded OS, with embedded web server, and digital signal processors to bring you the most powerful network-based digital video recorder available. This high end system will provide you with everything you need other than a monitor. If you tie the system into your network, you wont even need a monitor to view your DVR.
