Excellent, rugged stainless steel housing. In the event of an explosion, it's more likely the surface the camera is mounted to will fail before the housing does. This one is long enough to provide room for zoom lenses. This housing is a rugged stainless steel housing that can really take a beating! More importantly it is made to the right dimensions to support a camera with a fixed or a zoom lens. The housing has three cable or wire exits available in the rear of the housing and has an extremely tough glass window for the camer lens. We actually use this housing with one of our automatic zoom lens cameras and we don't have to worry about the lens jamming the glass.
