I'm not at liberty to say exactly what we use this camera for, but I can say that it is an excellent camera. Of course if you're going to pay $10,000 for a camera, explosion proof or not, it better work damn good and this one does. As you can see by Security Camera King's description page there's a lot to be desired as far as knowing the specifications on this camera. I think they do that intentionally because I'm sure you are going to contact Security Camera King's sales department before you consider an investment of this magnitude. What I can say is that I back this camera whole heartedly and it has served its purpose well for us so far, without any glitches. Talk to their sales people if you are interested and they will be more than helpful in your decision making process whether to purchase this model or not.

This is an excellent camera. The PTZ camera is truly an explosion proof camera so it can be used in incredibly hazardous or volatile environments without any concern. Not only does the camera produce a crisp, clear color video but the Pan, Tilt, and Zoom functions are all remotely controlled using a digital telemetry receiver device. That means no extra wires for the PTZ control functions which is one less factor to contribute to exposure failure. The camera can be mounted to a flat surface or can be mounted using an explosion proof platform bracket. Security Camera King 100Kg or greater explosion proof brackets work excellent for this purpose as they do not result in shaking or movement especially from camera control movements even though they may extend from the mounting surface. If you have a need for an explosion proof PTZ camera that needs to be mounted in a very hazardous or potentially volatile environment and you don't want to hassle with extra control wires for the PTZ movements, this camera is an excellent choice.
