Works great, especially in cold or foggy weather.

If your going to put a box camera outside you better give it some protection or you might regret it. This housing is just what the doctor ordered. Not only does it protect the camera from the elements and provide a means of mounting but even has an included heater and blower to keep the "chill" off your camera.

This is a good sturdy, metal housing for protecting your outdoor cameras. If you live in cold weather climates like I do, the built in heater and blower are a must. The camera and swivel just about 360 degrees in any direction and then can be adjusted and fixed for the proper amount of tilt (up, down, or level). Here's a hint for do it yourself installers that may not have thought ahead. When installing this mount, use a laser level or similar tool to draw a faint line on the wall or object that you intend to mount the bracket on. Then use that line to ensure your mount is installed in a level position. It can save you time down the road.

We use these housing on all of our outdoor box cameras here at our ski resort as a safety measure. We have a complete system set up that includes monitoring of the chair lift as well as major portions of the slopes. Without the heater/blower combination I doubt the cameras would work well between winter weather conditions and our snow makers. In addition to the slope coverage we also use them as security cameras outside the chalet. Highly recommended housing.

I live in upstate New York and we see some pretty harsh winters around these parts. This case with the fan and heater helps to keep the "camera rolling" even in the extremely cold, nasty weather. The mount is easy to fasten and the camera fastens easily to the end of the mount which is adjustable which allows for the proper aiming of the camera.

This camera housing is a great buy. I used three anchor screws to mount the bracket to the wall, then attached the housing to the bracket with two screws and that was all there was to it. This housing is not only a great buy, but since I live in the Northern climate where we see plenty of harsh winters; it is also a wise investment. The heater and blower work well to keep the polycarbonate viewing window free of condensation and ice.

I live in Minnesota and believe me; it gets cold here in the winter time. Because of that fact, I bought this housing to use with one of my box cameras outside. It works very ell to keep fog from forming on the lens or cover of the housing. The only snow I see on my monitor from these cameras is the white fluffy stuff.

If you have winter and you have an outdoor camera, you need this housing. Works great, keeps the camera protected, warm, and the video clear. Definitialy worth the money.

This turned out to be a great way to protect my cams.
