These are used to terminate the ends of your network cables. They come 100 to a bag. RJ45 connectors will be put on each end of your CAT5 or CAT6 cable run.
They work good, no problems. (FYI-- I'm only writing this part because a customer asked me about these recently. NO they are NOT the same wire ends for telephones!)

Good quality RJ45 jacks for CAT5 or 6 cable. They work great with a standard RJ45 tool.
