Hi all,
My Q-see QC908 recently died on me. I've been through 5 different DVRs and can't figure this out. From my understanding, I have I AHD cameras. On my QC908 my cameras were showing in color on my HDTV monitor during the day, and black and white at night (IR). Any DVR I hook the cameras up to now are strictly showing black and white on my monitor. Any help here?

Hello, and thank you for your question. The reason why a camera will show up in Black and White on another HD recorder is that the camera is of one technology and the recorder is of another. Ie. Your camera is HDCVI and the recorder is HDTVI or AHD.
From what I can tell, our Elite Series recorders will work with these cameras as they are HDCVI, not AHD. Although QSee calls it AnalogHD, they are really disguising the name of the technology.
