I recently installed a 8 camera HD CVI system.  I ran HDMI cable to 1080p HD TV from DVR. It does not show up on TV. I assume I must change the resolution to the highest level on the DVR choices.  If that is correct, will the cameras still display on my VGA monitor. OR will I get the TV to come on and have a blank monitor with no way to change back. THANKS

Good morning Constable, you can use both outputs HDMI and VGA at the same time I suggest you use a monitor connected to the VGA and configure the display resolution until your HDMI monitor starts displaying the GUI. The monitor on the VGA will not go blank. Hope this helps have a great weekend
