  • Hello! Because I want to save on installation fees, I’ve decided to install CCTV Cameras at home the DIY way. However, I’m having problems with how to mount the cameras without them falling off. I’d like to get a good insight from some of you about which is better: camera mounts or brackets? What makes camera mounts better? What makes brackets better? Which is a more practical choice? What if I want the cameras to be less visible? Are there camera mounts or brackets that support hidden cameras? I sincerely hope to get sensible responses from you. It will be a big help for our family.

Hi,

Thank you for the post. What kind of cameras are you trying to mount? Can you provide more details please? Are they box cameras? Vandal Dome? Indoor Domes? Armor Domes, Bullets? Please let us know and we will do our very best to assist you.

I think it will be safe to go for the professional installation. No matter which type of camera are you using, you make some mistakes without expertise and then can cost you more than the installation charges.

I can give tips and tricks but I need to know what you have. Configuration is different depending on the type of system you have.

The menus on cameras are different depending on chip-set. Do you know the product number?
