Hi,

Specifically, this camera https://www.securitycameraking...../scart.php.

i have the discontinued 8 port mini NVR . Will motion detection work with this camera ?

Also, I have a 150 foot cat5e run from NVR to camera. Will POE work well in my application?

Yes these new cameras support motion detection. They need to be configured but it is not a problem .

Thank you, Daniel. I have about a 150 foot cable run between the NVR and the camera. Will this camera work well with just Poe at that distance  with the IR enabled?

Any IP camera POE or non you can get 100 meters or 300 ft max distance.
