Are the ports for each IP Cam supposed to be different? I have two El3mpir50 ports 37777 and 47777 on NVr Elm 8 poe 8dh. The ip address for the NVR uses 47777. But as i add a 3rd and 4th camera are the ports assigned by NVR or do I set that up in the camera with the config tool before I hook it up to the DVR?

If the ports for each ip cam have to be different then I have to port forward each one, correct?

I can do all that but just don't want to do trial and error anymore than I have to.

Thanks

If your plan is to view each camera individually from the internet then Yes, if you just access the NVR instead then no. It is not recommended to port forward every camera, that will be a big overhead in your router.
