We installed a tribrid the other day and were able to get the unit on the local network. The customer uses a third party for their network admin which means we were going to have to wait for them to send a tech out and configure the router. While I was messing around with the DVR, I scanned the qr code in the dvr using the techpro ss app. Magically I was able to see the system through the app.

Now the question is, how can I view the system using PSS or the web service?

P2P does not required to have ports open because it users external server to authenticate with the recorder and app. Unfortunately if you want to have access to the recorder via PSS then you will need to open the ports.

Thanks
