System has been running for almost a year now without any problems.  We keep a HDMI TV connected to a 9 camera view.  The system has one analog camera and 10 IP cameras.  Recently the HDMI monitor started displaying the IP cameras very choppy (freezing like stops with about a second or 2 in between).  The streams from the cameras seem smooth when connected with PSS software.

Any idea of what we can do to get the video back to normal? Or what to check for problems?

NVR:  HYBDVR-FE016480-DH-160  Cpnfigured with 1 analog and 10 IP (2x IPOB-TP2MPIR250L660-W and 8x IPOB-EL1MPIR50)

Hi Robert,

I have a few questions.

1) What is the firmware this DVR is currently running, along with the build date?

2) What are the FPS on the 1080p and the 720p cameras?

3) What is the bit rate set to for both 1080p and 720p cameras.

Thanks.

3) 1080 bit rate: 1736 | 720 bit rate: VBR (Quality 6-best)

Robert,

I am not that familiar with VBR, we generally use CBR. Have the 720p cameras always been set up with VBR? If not, and you wish to set it to CBR 720p cameras should use 896-1024.

Also, frame rate I would set too 20 for both 1080 and 720. The difference between 30FPS and 20FPS is not something you will truly notice. It will help the DVR run a bit smoother and you keep the fluent video.

Please send me a picture of the back of the DVR and I will find the latest firmware update for you. That may help out a lot as well.

Thanks.

Nothing has changed since we implemented the system.  I can try the alternate rates but we like higher frame rates for stills during motion.

I plan on resetting cameras today to see if maybe that might help something -- they haven't been reset since put in place.

Thanks for checking on the firmware for me.  Are their firmware updates for the cameras as well?

Can you send the camera firmware's direct to an email for me?  I can PM you the address -- or try again? They both seem to be corrupt.

I got the NVR firmware in place and it seems to be working.
