This question comes up often enough so I figured maybe this could help someone. This is techpross-plus on an android tablet, with a ultimate mini dvr. This is not techpross HD-plus, it's just techpross-plus.

You're welcome. I enjoy contributing. I did this one because I often hear that you must have sub stream recording enabled to play back files in techprossplus. This demonstrates that isn't really the case, normally. I  can't confirm it's the same with the HD apps because I don't have those plus versions to try it. You'll have to confirm that on your end.

You can do this with an NVR but you would need to be recording at D1 resolution which makes no sense on an NVR.
