Now you see it . . . now you don’t! This mini bullet camera from our Alliance series is a great example of how technology continues to advance. This is a high definition HD-CVI security camera that works using the same coaxial cable that has been used with Analog cameras for years. That's right! HD-CVI works with standard coaxial cable so, if you have existing cables and a 12v DC power supply, upgrading to HD is as simple as swapping your Analog cameras and recorder with CVI capable products. You’ll get 2MP/ 1080p high definition video without the need to run expensive network cables.
At just under 2½ inches, these cameras are sized so that you can place them just about anywhere. This camera comes with a handy base that can be mounted on a desk, table, ceiling or used without and just set almost anywhere! This camera has a versatile 2.8mm lens that makes it perfect for wide angle views over large areas but still capable in more close-up areas.
These cameras will need to be used with a CVI or CVI capable DVR like our Tribrid, QUAD or Pentabrid recorders!
This includes a 1 year warranty, FREE US base tech support and remote monitoring apps at no additional charge!

Great daytime performance, low light performance could be better

I bought one of these to see if it would be upgrade from a bunch of 960H lipstick cams that had pretty good low-light performance, but the 960x576 just wasn't cutting it for detail. This 1080p cam has way better daytime detail than the 960H cameras, but low-light performance isn't up to what the older 960H cams had. That's not surprising, since the 960H cams cost twice as much as these 1080p cams.
Even though the low-light performance of these isn't as good as what I was hoping for, I'm not going to down-rate it, because for the price this is an excellent small camera, as long as you don't need to use them in low light with no IR illumination.
