Elite 8MP IP Network 4K Motorized Dome Security Camera w/ IR

This new indoor/outdoor dome security camera is the newest addition to our Elite series of cameras and it delivers some beautiful 8MP /4K video! When use with a compatible ePoE switch, the latest ePoE technology provides you with an increased transmission distance so you can go up to 800m/2625ft while still achieving speeds up to 10Mbps using Cat 5 or coaxial cable versus a maximum of 100m/328ft with standard PoE . There are features like IVS (Intelligent Video System) that makes your camera able to analyze aspects of your video like abandoned or missing objects, facial detection and it even supports tripwire analytics so you can be notified if someone crosses a preset line. Technological improvements continue to happen and one of the latest is the introduction of H.265+ video compression that reduces the video bitrate and thereby reduces the bandwidth and the amount of storage necessary with previous HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding). Another improvement that is featured and noticeable in this camera is WDR or Wide Dynamic Range. This feature essentially balances overexposed and underexposed lighting to create the best level of detail.

With these newer 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) cameras, you have the ability to see details that you couldn’t imagine with your old analog or even 1 and 2 megapixel cameras. Those 2 LEDs give off enough that you can see images in black and white up to 164 feet from the camera.
