Our new ELITE Series 8 Channel Pentabrid DVR gives you plenty of options since it works with five different technologies! You’ll be able to mix your existing Analog cameras with HD-CVI cameras up to 8MP, HD-TVI and AHD up to 5MP, Analog in 960H and you can add 4 IP Network cameras up to 8MP (4K) for a total of 8 cameras over coaxial and 4 over IP Network. As an added bonus . . . you can use all the available channels as IP only and have a total of 12 IP cameras up to 8MP each @48Mbps! If using HD-CVI security cameras, you’ll have the ability to record up to 8MP at 7fps, with HD-TVI you can record 5MP@12fps, 3MP@15fps, 1080p and 720p @30fps, AHD in 5MP@12fps, 4MP/3MP@15fps, 1080p/720p @30fps and if you are using analog cameras, you can record up to 960H resolution at 30fps. If you have existing, good quality coaxial cable and a standard 12V power supply, you can use that for both HD-CVI and analog but if you are going to experiment with some IP cameras you will need to run some CAT5/6 network cable and you will need a PoE switch to connect and power the IP Cameras.

The newest Pentabrid DVR has a dual core processor, an embedded Linux Operating System and a GUI Interface that is very easy to use when you are trying to configure the settings. You can do all of your scheduling and set things like Tripwire, Motion Detection, and Tampering to set trigger events like Recording, Email, Video Push and other forms of notifications. This has two options of HDMI and VGA for you to choose from for display options so that you can monitor your cameras. Once you’ve completed the initial setup, you can view your cameras remotely on a PC, Mac or smart device from anywhere in the world that you have an internet connection.

This Ultra-HD DVR has room for 2 hard drives up to 16TB total and you can use the dropdown menu above to choose to add them to your order now. This is a great timesaver since we will then install, configure and test the hard drives for you and it will be ready to go when you hook your cameras up to your DVR! You also have the ability to plug a flash drive into one of the two USB ports so you can copy just the footage you need to turn over to the authorities for help in identifying suspected criminals.
