The NVR-ELE8-PS is an 8 channel mini NVR with 8 ports of PoE built right in, allowing you to eliminate extra cabling as you can power your cameras directly from the back of the unit. Connect up to 8 IP cameras, which can range in resolution from 1MP all the way up to 8MP or 4K. You can connect the NVR to a monitor using either an HDMI or VGA connection allowing you to complete your security camera setup. You can also utilize your unit for remote monitoring with your phone, tablet or computer as long as you have an internet connection.

A few great features this NVR includes are IVS (Intelligent Video System) & ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment Technology) compatibility. When connected to an IVS capable camera, this unit can detect abandoned/missing objects, tripwire/intrusion violations as well as analysis data such as facial detection and people counting. With ANR, you won’t have to worry about losing video data as the unit will automatically store it to the IP cameras SD card when a network problem occurs.

Video storage in general shouldn’t be a problem, with H.265+ video compression you can reduce the bit rate and storage requirements of recorded video up to 70% from standard compressions. Although there’s only space for one installed Hard Drive (up to 6TB), you can always connect external storage to the NVR with one of its USB ports.
