The PENDVR-EL16C4K-AI3 is a 16 Ch DVR from our Elite series of surveillance equipment. This pentabrid can support five different types of cameras including CVBS (analog) HD-CVI, HD-TVI and AHD through the built in BNC connectors. IP cameras are the fifth type of cameras supported and they will need a stand alone POE switch. This recorder can support 16 BNC connected cameras in addition to 16 IP cameras.
This unit has 4 SATA ports accepting up to 10TB drives in each hard drive bay. You can record continuously or based on motion detection. You can even schedule it to do both on a schedule. It also has SMD Plus(Smart Motion Detection), the PENDVR-EL16M4K-AI3 utilizes intelligent algorithm-based motion detection software to filter out unwanted information leaving you with far fewer false alerts.
This DVR uses IVS (Intelligent Video System) which includes tripwire analytics, missing or abandoned objects, and facial detection to name just a few. You can even hook up external accessories such as a siren, strobe light or alarm function with the built in alarm inputs and outputs.
