The PENDVR-ELE8ME-AI brings AI and expanded hybrid-IP functionality to our entry-level 1080p HD-Over-Coax lineup. Using coax, the PENDVR-ELE8ME-AI can support up to 8 Channels at full 1920x1080p resolution while also powering a full suite of AI features including perimeter detection, SMD+ and Facial Recognition. With AI functionality disabled, your DVR can support up to 12 total channels (8 coax/4 IP or up to 12 IP cameras at up to 6MP per channel; Maximum 64 Mbps total bandwidth) of video.

Having the flexibility to upgrade and expand with IP cameras is nice, but the AI features built into this DVR will work on any coax camera installed on the DVR. Use SMD+ (Smart Motion Detection+) on all channels instead of traditional motion detection to reduce false positives for motion to only trigger motion detection for people and vehicles. On any two channels of your choosing, ramp up SMD+ into full perimeter detection with IVS rules for tripwires and/or region analysis (box draw) to further tune and tighten your motion detection to grab only what you need and nothing else.

Perhaps instead you record all the time, but are more concerned with keeping records of who is coming in and out of your property? Real Time Face recognition tags and catalogs facial capture data on up to 2 separate channels simultaneously. Leverage the AI search function on either your face data or SMD+/Perimeter data to quickly and efficiently search through your recordings for certain faces or the records of people vs. vehicles.

With standard support for H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compressions, the PENDVR-ELE8ME-AI also has a new AI coding compression algorithm to further reduce storage and bandwidth concerns. AI coding can reduce up to 50% of the bandwidth requirements of standard H.265 encoding
