I just purchased a couple of your cameras.  Using the "NetVideo" software all seems to be working great.  I'm now trying to setup the cameras for us with iSpy.  I can't seem to figure out how to get the camera setup in the software.

This is my first time working with IP camera systems so I'm a noob with this stuff. ANY help will be appreciated.

I have a model IPOB-TP2MPIR150L2812-B camera

Thanks,

Hello and good morning if the camera is still defaulted with the original settings then just try adding the TP camera using the onvif platform and port 8080.

I called Security King Camera tech support on this.  The tech did confirm that Their cameras DO indeed work with iSpy, but he said they offer support the cameras only and would/could give no assistance with connecting to the software, So I guess I'm here asking for support from other users who might not have that same limitation.

Their sales dept told me that the Cameras were ONVIF and any software that used ONVIF would be easy to setup.  I need help with getting there.

Thanks,

In iSpy I choose Add, ONVIF camera, Then put in the default username/password (I had to change the IP address to work on my network) All other settings in that window are left as default. I clicked "scan network" and the camera does not show up.

If I add a camera and use the IP and port when I hit O the software says "Please select a camera" (there is only ione on the list and it is highlighted.

I tried (from the ONVIF screen) the "IP Camera With Wizard" I chose the techpro camera, entered the credentials, the IP address (with port 8080 per suggestion).  iSpy then made some suggestions as to video feed.  I've tried several of them with no luck.

I've managed to get a couple of USB web cams to work with iSpy without a problem.

The ONVIF camera works with the "Netvideo" software that comes with it.
I think I'm making this harder than it needs to be.  As I said I'm new to this and feeling a bit lost.

Thanks for looking into this.

iSpy: http://www.ispyconnect.com

This is currently a proof of concept.  If all goes well we will be buying about 6-8 more cameras to cover our immediate need, then more in the future.  I need to get the two I have working for a demo.

Thanks

Some progress:

I added this as the file/URL to the FFMPEG (H264) tab in iSpay.
|

rtsp://Admin:1111@192.168.0.230:554/onvif/media  (these are the default credentials)

Still not all the way there yet, but I get video from the camera into iSpy.

Thanks

Jose,

That works as well.
Setting that seem to work best (so far anyway) are this on the FFMPEG(H264 tab in iSpy):

File/URL: rtsp://Admin:1111@192.168.0.230:554/1

RTSP Mode: TCP  (the "Auto" setting here gives weird video results.)

Now on the get the motion-detect and off-site image file dump working.

If I find anything else helpful or interesting I'll post it here.Good stuff!

Thanks.
