If you have an existing alarm system, then this 700TVL Hidden Motion Detector will look completely natural. Keep an eye on your home of business discreetly. This incredibly high resolution covert motion detector security camera has a 3.7mm fixed lens combined with a 1/3” Sony ExView HAD II CCD & the Sony Effio-E DSP that will provide an outstanding overview without anyone knowing. There is an OSD (On Screen Display) that will let you control many advanced features like ATR (Adaptive Tone Reproduction) which will compensate for contrast and Sens UP that makes this camera incredibly sensitive in low light situations. This is not a working motion detector.

Great camera! It's kind of funny that someone would think to put a hidden camera inside a security system motion detector casing. It's like hiding a key inside another key, no one would think to look there for it. So, in a way, you get a double benefit with this camera. First it looks like a security alarm system is installed and second is the hidden camera part. Now as far as the camera is concerned, it works great. It has a 700 TVL resolution and uses a Sony ExView HAD II CCD with the Effio-E digital signal processing chipset and if you are familiar with security cameras you know that this is a good combination. The camera even comes with its own On Screen Display menu that allows you to make adjustments to the electronic features using the joystick button that is built into the camera cable. We've had this camera for a little over 6 months now and it continues to work great!

Don't be fooled by the novelty cameras that are out there and think that this is on of those because it is definitely not. Security Camera King did an excellent job at digging this one up because it is truly a high quality camera with a high quality video production. The 700 TVL resolution produces great detailed video shots in light as low as 0.1 LUX in color and 0.0001 Lux in black and white. Leave a "night light" on in the room where you have this camera and you'll never have to worry about having enough light to capture. Besides the fact that the resolution of the camera is 700 TVL it has a quality Sony sensor and chipset combination (CCD and the Sony Effio-E digital signal processor) so you know it will deliver great results. The camera has a 3.7mm fixed lens that appears to be one of the "air holes" in the PIR sensor. The idea of putting a hidden camera in a PIR device is brilliant because not only to you have a high quality working hidden security and surveillance camera but since it is disguised as a PIR device you reap the secondary benefits of a potential trespasser thinking you have an active alarm system too. This camera can be adjusted to suit your particular environment using the On Screen Display (OSD) menu. The features on the menu are controlled by button joystick built right into the camera cable. We've had this camera up for over 6 months and no one has suspected that it is a camera yet, and I doubt they ever will.

This is a great little hidden camera. The disguise has double the value. It not only works as a disguise for the camera, but anyone looking at this camera will not be able to tell the difference between this fake PIR and a real one. So, in addition to covering the camera, it still helps protect overtly by making people think you have an alarm system with an infrared motion detector! The camera is made with a 1/3" Sony CCD and their corresponding Effie-E digital signal processor which provides an excellent quality video recording. The video is clear and sharp, especially at 700 TVL resolution and the color is true. The camera comes with an On Screen Display menu that can be operated from a button joystick that is built right into the video cable. Even though the camera has a 3.7 mm lens, you really have to look hard at the PIR to realize it is there. The camera comes with Sony's adaptive tone reproduction (ATR) and digital wide dynamic range so it can handle some pretty challenging lighting conditions, especially back light created shadows. Not only that, but it even has a working minimum illumination rating of 0.1 LUX in color and 0.001 LUX in black and white. With normal lights on you're covered and with just a little ambient light on during "lights off" time you can still be covered in black and white. There's really only one thing that doesn't work on this camera, the PIR motion detector. :)

Great camera! Perfectly hidden integrates well with my DVR. It has pretty good low light sensitivity too, down to 0.01 LUX. It also has an OSD with a built in joystick button on the video cable.

This camera is not one of those cheap toy cameras that you often see advertised in magazines. This is a full honest to goodness 700 TVL resolution security and surveillance camera with a fixed 3.7 mm lens. The lens by the way, is no different in size than typical over view dome cameras for instance. The camera has a minimum illumination rating of 0.01 LUX so if you always leave a "night light" or something similar on at night time, the camera should record just fine. This camera even has an On Screen Display menu system like full size security cameras. Built into the camera's video cable is a button that works like a joystick to control the OSD features. Set the camera up and stick on the wall (and run the cables) and you are ready to go. I'm happy with the quality of the video recording and the PIR casing is an ingenious method of disguising the camera. (The PIR really doesn't work by the way, just the camera does.) People that see the PIR just think you have a security alarm system, whether you do or not. They never suspect that there is a camera inside!

This is a high quality camera disguised as a PIR motion detector. It's a great idea and makes for a good hidden camera because if you have an alarm system the PIR case blends right in, looking like part of the actual alarm system. If you don't have an alarm system, the PIR case makes it look like you do so it's doubtful anyone would question that there is a high quality camera hidden inside. The camera has an incredible 700 TVL resolution in color and a 3.7 mm fixed lens. The lens is the same size as most overview dome cameras and provides a good overview of the area you want to record. The high resolution allows the camera to capture a lot of detail that you normally don't get from a hidden camera. This camera even has an On Screen Display menu system that allows to adjust different features to get the best shot including the Sense Up feature which makes the camera more sensitive to record in low light conditions. The OSD is controlled by an inline joystick button on the camera's video line. About the only thing this camera doesn't do is work as an actual PIR motion detector....lol.

Whether you have an existing security alarm system or not, this camera is an excellent full functioning hidden camera. If you have an alarm system this fake PIR camera will just blend in with the rest of the system. On the other hand, if you don't have a pre-existing alarm system, this PIR motion detector camera looks exactly like a real PIR, so anyone will think that it IS a working alarm system. This camera is not a toy and that is evident by its 630 TVL color and 700 TVL resolution black and white video recording. It's got a Sony Super HAD II CCD sensor with a great DSP that produces very good video footage. The lens is a 3.6 mm wide angle lens and the only way anyone is going to detect it is if they use a hidden camera reflective lens detector device, it that good. The camera comes with an On Screen Display menu system that you use to control many of the settings of the camera as well as a wealth of additional electronic features, many of which enhance the quality of the video to fit your particular lighting conditions. The video cable has a built in joystick button for easy control of the OSD during installation. If you need a high quality, good working hidden camera to add to your security surveillance system I would highly recommend this faux PIR sensor camera.

I guess you could call this hidden protection with protection. Unless you study this device in detail or use a security camera lens detector, there is absolutely no way to tell that what appears to be a motion sensor alarm device is actually a hidden security camera. And come to think of it, who would ever think that it is, hence my title, "This Camera is Quite the Fooler!" Once the camera is mounted properly the cable which runs through the back of the unit, is hidden behind the mounted unit, preferably into the wall. This camera has an on screen display menu system that is controlled by a built in joystick type device that is in the camera cable. Using the OSD system you can "tweak" the settings for the camera, including its digital wide dynamic range settings and sensitivity level, to adapt the camera to a variety of different lighting conditions. The camera has a 3.6 mm lens so it provides a wide angle shot. The video it captures is clear, high resolution whether you use color or black and white.

This 630 TVL hidden camera works great! Our office is already wired with an alarm system so these motion detector looking cameras fit right in. They have a pretty good wide range of view and the video is clear. You can't tell they are cameras at all. The on screen display menu is easy to use to change the wide dynamic range and the light sensitivity. They were easy to install too.

At first you wouldn't think that this is much of a covert idea--I mean a hidden camera inside a burglar alarm motion detector? However, you can't appreciate just exactly how covert this is until you have one. This camera works great and provides an excellent 480TVL display.
