These should serve just about everybody's purpose well enough I should think. They have good pick up and low interference. (Hey Security Camera King, how about a price on a bulk purchase of these? :) )

Works like they are supposed to. Light weight small, yet they have good pick up.

Reasonable price and works well. Frankly I wouldn't know what else to use beside these.

Small, light, and fairly easy to conceal (make sure you check your state's laws on audible recordings if you do conceal it). Even though it is small and light, it does a pretty good job of picking up sounds.

This microphone works great. They are inexpensive and only take a couple of minutes to install (basically plug in the power and connect the audio wires). You'll most likely want to use a splitter so you may want to order one of those for each microphone you purchase. Remember to check local laws about recording audio.

The microphone is pretty sensitive for such an economical price--I was surprised. If your camera doesn't come with a microphone, this is a nice accessory. In most cases, I think you might want to consider purchasing the PT-6 "Y" splitter too. The splitter can connect to your incoming camera power supply and split it in two, one lead for the camera, the other lead to the microphone. This saves a tremendous amount of time and effort when you would otherwise run a whole new power supply line just for the microphone.
