Good camera with a high quality picture. Easy to install and can even be used by itself with a just a computer; lightweight too. No problem mounting it to foam panels of a drop ceiling.

I bought this camera just a few months ago. I’m not going to try to fool anybody, I have very little experience with security cameras let a alone network security cameras. In all honesty, a friend of mine that is very familiar with these systems recommended Security Camera King. I only have one camera and this is it. Instead of using an NVR I use the Security Camera King PSS management software and record and monitor the camera on my computer. Not a bit of trouble so far and it forks great. It was easy to install and with a little bit of Security Camera King’s support department help, I was able to download and implement the PSS management software. The color and the detail on this camera is very good. I was expecting the resolution to be like my last camera which I had purchased at Lowe’s Home Improvement store, but there is no comparison. This camera is far much better. It does have an infrared mode and it has a range of about 50 feet in total darkness. The camera works well for e and I would recommend it!

For a network camera, this is a good lower end resolution bullet camera. This bullet camera does produce a clear, crisp, color correct video picture for a 720p resolution. (It records 720P resolution at real time or 30 frames per second. If you jack up the resolution to 1.3 megapixels, the maximum, the frame rate is adjusted to 15 frames per second). It's got a standard 50 foot infrared range in total darkness and has a 3.6 mm lens. Basically, this is a great camera for network systems overview shots, and since it is a weatherproof bullet camera, it is good for use outside.

Boy I don't know, when the security camera industry came out with IP megapixel cameras I thought for sure they would overtake the analogs and become the mainstay, but now there is HD-SDI systems, I'm not so sure. This Security Camera King IP bullet camera is a good camera, for the resolution that it can capture at it provides a sharp color true video recording. If you use box cameras a lot, you may want to consider switching to this bullet camera because although it has a 3.6mm fixed lens, it is already weatherproof and won't require additional expense for a housing or a lens for that matter. I am satisfied for my particular application, to record at a 1.3 megapixel resolution at 15 frames per second, however if you are a die-hard fan of real time (30 frames per second) rates than you will need to reduce the resolution to 720p. (Actually to me it's not that big of a difference in resolution, 1.3 megs being 1280 X 960 while 720p is 1280 X 720). The camera works well in infrared mode too. I would recommend it to others.

For some reason I thought I never would see the day when they would make a megapixel bullet camera. I'm glad they made this one. Even though this one is at the lower end of the megapixel resolution scale it is still a vast improvement over the analog TVL resolution cameras. Like most 1.3 megapixel cameras, you can record at this resolution at a frame rate of 15 frames per second or if you are a stickler for fluid, real time recording rates you can drop the resolution down to 720p and record at 30 frames per second. The camera has a fixed 3.6mm lens which is good for over view shots, especially of areas like gasoline pump bays and such. The sensor is pretty light sensitive but in addition to that it comes with a set of its own infrared LED illuminators packed around the lens and gets a range of about 50 feet with them on. Since the camera can be used outside it is rated IP66 and has built in 4000V lightning surge protection. It's a nice compact yet megapixel producing bullet camera and I would recommend it to anyone else.

There's really only one problem with this camera, and it really isn't a problem. I've done a lot of shopping both on line and off line for security camera systems and security cameras and both for my home and for work. There are a lot of really cheap systems out there. I mean cheap; cheap in price and cheap in quality. They look like something that would come out of a cereal or Cracker Jacks box, especially the cameras. This camera kind of looks like those cheap cameras, but let that discourage you. Because I'm writing this review to tell you that this is a high quality Security Camera King IP megapixel bullet camera and produces an excellent video recording. Even the monitoring picture is great! Although this camera has a wide angle fixed 3.6mm lens, the high resolution still makes the picture of this camera incredibly detailed compared to other similar analog cameras. The colors are true, and I have noticed any annoying flickering or interference. The camera was super easy to mount, and the mount provides joints that will allow you to turn the camera in just about any direction. Even though the camera comes with infrared illuminating LEDs it still has a pretty good low light sensitivity rating of 0.1 LUX in color and 0.05 LUX in black and white. It's really a nice camera and I highly doubt you would be disappointed by it!

We installed this IP megapixel bullet camera several months ago to cover our drive-thru ordering lane. I was playing back some recordings of the drive-thru the other day when I realized I could actually see some of the drivers lit instrument panel gauges at night with this camera, that's how good the picture quality is (and this camera doesn't even have a varifocal or zoom lens, that's with it's 3.6 mm wide angle lens). Like most of these 1.3 megapixel cameras, it records at 1.3 megapixels at 15 frames per second and at 720p at 30 frames per second. Since we use it at our pre-window stop (ordering menu) the cars are stopped and we really don't need to have real-time 30 frame per second rates so we use this at the 1.3 megapixel 15 fps rate and it works just fine. The other factor is that it is a dual stream camera, meaning that it sends one stream of 1.3 megapixel resolution to our NVR and another stream at D1 to our monitor at the cashier's window, which works fine for us. We've had the camera for a few months now and haven't had any problems with it. As a matter of fact, I am here today to order another one to add to our system. Security Camera King has also given us some support when we first installed our system and their support staff was excellent!
This isn't a bad camera but I haven't seen anything really special about it either, other than the fact that it is an IP network camera. I would be more conducive to it at this price if it were a true 1.3 megapixel camera, meaning that it could capture color video at that resolution at 30 frames per second (real-time), but it only captures 1.3 megapixel resolution 15 frames per second. However to be fair, there isn't a tremendous difference between the two resolutions. 1.3M is actually 1280 X 960 while 720p is 1280 X 720 pixels. It does have surge protection and anti-fog technology that works. It can dual stream so while you are recording at the maximum resolution at 15 fps you can get a monitoring stream of D1 at the same rate (same for 720p at 30 fps).It has built in infrared LEDs that give it a maximum range of 50 feet, depending upon conditions. It also has a fixed 3.6 mm lens for wide angle shots only.

If you need or prefer bullet cameras over other types, this is an excellent basic entry level bullet camera to the IP megapixel world. It delivers 1.3 megapixels of resolution per frame at 15 frames per second, or if you drop the resolution down a bit you can get 720p at a real-time frame rate of 30 frames per second. Like most 1.3 megapixels, you can even drop the resolution down further to D1 if you like. You can't beat the picture quality with a TVL resolution camera and once you're plugged into your network or Internet you can't beat the versatility either. This camera, like most bullet cameras, has its own built in infrared LEDs that give it a range of about 50 feet in total darkness. It's a nice camera for the price.
1.3 Megapixel IP Network Bullet IR Security Camera -- A Good Modest Camera

This is a nice bullet camera with everything about it, including the price being modest. It's not too high on megapixels and it's not too low. It's not too high on price and it's not too low. I call it modest.
Security Camera Kings IPOB-EL1MPIR50 is a bullet 1.3 megapixel IP camera that can be used where any other bullet camera is used but with far higher resolution, and therefore finer detail and quality video recording results. You do have to be somewhat astute when dealing with these megapixel cameras though because some may be listed as 1.3 megapixel leaving you to assume the camera records in 1.3 megapixel (1080p) at 30 frames per second (real time) and others may be listed the same way but the 1.3 megapixel rating is the maximum resolution the camera can obtain but at a reduced frame rate. Such is the case with the IPOB-EL1MPIR50. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad camera at all but it doesn't record at 1.3 megapixel at 30 fps it records 1.3 megapixel at 15 fps. If you want realtime recording rates you'll have to drop the resolution down a little bit to 720p. I don't think this is meant to be purposely misleading; it's just the way these megapixel cameras are marketed. At any rate this camera still produces a very good 720p re3solution video recording at realtime speeds. It's not a varifocal, just a 3.6 mm fixed lens good for overview or wide angle shots. Also it's an infrared camera and with the on board LEDs can see about 50 feet in total darkness. It also has all the other benefits that come with being an IP camera including POE (Power Over the Ethernet) so you can save yourself a little cabling. Once again, it's a good modest camera.
