This is an excellent camera. The quality of the video is really good and the camera offers a lot of different options considering that it falls in the "middle of the road" category for price on IP network cameras. You never would have convinced me several years ago that we would have cameras that produce this fine of resolution and high quality color or black and white video, even though I've been in the business for years. This camera has a wide angle 3.6mm fixed lens but even with the small wide angle lens the resolution is so massive that details aren't much of an issue. The camera is pretty good on low light sensitivity. It rated for 0.1 lux for color captures and 0.05 for black and white. It's got dual encoded streaming so that you can record high resolution video and monitor at a lower resolution so as not to soak up all your networks available bandwidth. It also can record to a PC or if you prefer you can record to an on board (optional) Micro SD card at full resolution and recording rate.
This is a brilliant product. The videos which are available on the Securitycameraking.com website are really helpful and worth looking at prior to purchasing. I did this and as a result the camera was ready to go within seconds of inserting a micro SD and powering it via a POE injector. The port settings and port forwarding are also very simple. The actual installation which I have on an outside eave was made very easy with the included template and again the videos were really helpful for the fine adjustments which users may need to make. In summary I am really happy with my purchase, the picture quality is stunning and I cannot recommend both the camera and Securitycameraking.com highly enough.

Not a bad camera. This camera produces an excellent quality 1080p resolution video at 30 frames per second. You can use it with a DVR/NVR hybrid, an NVR, by itself, smartphone or tablet, or with a personal computer. The 3.6mm wide angle lens gives a good broad spectrum shot. The camera is pretty simple and straight forward other than making the network connections. It’s not necessarily the highest quality IP megapixel camera I’ve seen in terms of features or options for use, however for a 1080p resolution camera in real time it is reasonably priced.
This 2MP IP camera provides great, high resolution and sharp video in daytime conditions indoors. I hooked it up to a POE switch and the simple wiring is great.
This is the best value for a megapixel security camera if you need only indoor, daytime video. The only downsides of this camera are (1) it does not perform in low light conditions, even if there is external IR illumination; and (2) it is rated for indoor use only, not outdoor use.

I like this camera from Security Camera King. At the risk of perhaps making it sound inferior in quality (which I do NOT intend to do), it is one of the simplest IP megapixel network cameras I have operated. On top of that, the picture quality is very good. For starters, the camera is advertised as a 2 megapixel camera and it is. I've noticed several times, especially with 1.3 megapixel cameras, that they advertise themselves as a certain resolution only to find out that they will record that resolution at a less than real frame rate (30 frames per second). Not so with this camera. It definitely records 2 megapixels or 1080p resolution in color at 30 frames per second. It has a pretty good low light sensitivity too. It is rated at 0.1 LUX in color and 0.05 LUX in black and white and has a signal to noise ration of greater than 50dB. The camera has a 3.6mm lens so it is strictly a wide angle or overview shot type kind of camera. Of course it's capable or recording in lesser resolutions than 1080p also. The power it needs is a pretty standard 12 VDC supply but to add to the convenience of the camera if you have a network power supply switch you can use Power over the Ethernet with this camera. You can also record to an on-board Micro SD card. Not bad for a camera that costs a little over $200.

I bought two of these cameras from Security Camera King about two months ago and I haven't got one negative thing to say about them! I don't even own an NVR (but you can bet that this camera is enough motivation to make consider it). One camera I have set up as a "standalone" recording to the on-board Micro SD card and the other camera is actually recording to a computer (you can do this by using Security Camera King's free downloadable video management software application). The camera records at a maximum of 1080p at 30 frames per second, but you can turn down the resolution to 720p or even D1 if you prefer. It is dual encoding, so if you have a DVR for example, you can send the high resolution recording to the Micro SD card and a D1 resolution stream to your DVR for monitoring. The camera, for as high as the resolution, has a pretty good day/night capability too. It's got a minimum lighting rating of 0.1 LUX in color and 0.05 LUX when used in black and white mode. What really amazes me though is that the lens is a 3.6mm wide angle fixed lens but at this resolution the amount of detail is still incredible! You would be surprised at what you can pick out in the video with this kind of detail. You really have to see it to believe it!

I received my camera just a few days after I placed my online order. I was surprised at how small this dome camera actually is. It's not like its a disguised or hidden camera or anything like that but it really is smaller than average dome cameras. However, I must say I did let the small size surprise me though because I didn't really expect to get the full size resolution picture that it produces. Even with it's fixed 3.6 mm wide angle lens this camera can pump out some pretty darn good detailed video at a resolution of 2 megapixels and a frame rate of 30 frames per second at that. You can also use it in a stand alone mode and record to an on board slot for a Micro SD card (maximum size 32 gigs). It's a true day/night camera and is rated pretty well for low light illumination (0.1 Lux in color and 0.05 Lux in black and white). If you're looking for an inexpensive megapixel camera I would recommend that you try this one!

Not a bad camera. What it may lack in lens options and other features it tries to make up for with resolution. The video footage captured by this camera is highly detailed as would be expected and otherwise of good quality. The one good thing about this camera is that it actually records in real-time at the resolution indicated. That is it will record 1080p resolution video at 30 frames per second. It also support dual encoding so you can record at one resolution and monitor in another. On the other hand, I'm not overly impressed with the 3.6 mm wide angle lens but it still is at least adequate. The other nice thing about this camera is that it can be used indoors or outdoors. If it is used outdoors it can often not even be recognized because of its small size and the fact that it kind of blends in well with white surroundings. It has pretty good low light sensitivity so you can pick up quite a bit without the need or infrared LED illuminators. It is rated at 0.1 LUX in color and 0.05 LUX in black and white. It's got several internal electronic features that enhance the video capturing like white balance, gain control, and day/night settings. Many of these settings are adjust automatically by the camera or you can override them manually. It does accept POE Power Over the Ethernet) so you can eliminate all but one CAT5 cable for installation. If you don't have a network system or NVR you can still record to your personal computer by using a network connection or the Internet and Security Camera King's PSS video management software. Of course if you are connected to the Internet then you can also take advantage of remote access by using a smart phone or tablet as long as you have wireless Internet coverage.

Great recording quality! This is a nice camera. It is small and very light weight but packed with recording power. It is so light in fact that I have mounted mine on a floating ceiling panel without any difficulty. The camera has a 3.2 mm fixed lens that gives a good wide angle or overview shot. However, even though the shot is a wide angle shot, the resolution is so fine that I can make out the printing one some of our boxes in our warehouse that are quite a distance from the camera. This is also one of those few IP megapixel cameras that actually records in real-time (30 frames per second) at the resolution that it is marketed as (in this case 2 megapixels or 1080p). You can record this camera to an NVR, a hybrid DVR/NVR, or even a personal computer using the PSS video management software. Or, you can even record without using any of those adjunct devises because the camera can hold a micro SD memory card with a capacity of up to 32 gigabytes. There are no infrared LED illuminators with this camera although it can often make use of stray infrared illumination shed by others. It doesn't really need it because the camera is rated down to 0.1 LUX in color and 0.05 LUX in black and white. Once you are connected to your network or Internet with this camera there are lots of possibilities. One that I like is accessing the camera using my iPhone from just about anywhere I get 4G service.
What great little camera! Don't be fooled by the lower price or smaller size of the camera, this one produces a great picture! We currently record this to the an on-board 32 gig micro SD card and have network users that access it when needed. It works great! The picture detail is amazing even with only a 3.6 mm fixed lens. If you're wondering if it really is that good, I can tell you that I didn't log on to write this review. I just bought a second one!
