Warning: if you purchase this camera be prepared to be blown away! Seriously, I can't believe the features that this camera has, let alone the video recording quality. You could write a small book on the various features/connections this ONVIF camera offers (in fact someone should because the only thing that I found disappointing about this camera was the users' manual but more on that later).

The camera video records in high definition format and the picture is incredible fine with great details, it is sharp and clear, and the color is true. The camera was super easy to mount. All you have to do is twist off the dome and screw in three screws and you are done (of course you'll need an exit for the camera's cable--it has a large pigtail with a lot of different connectors). The cable exits the side of the camera so that the base can be can be flush mounted but you'll more than likely want to create an exit hole in the substrate for the camera cable. The camera also has a 2.8mm to 12mm manual varifocal lens. You'll need to adjust this with the dome off. This maybe the only slightly awkward part of mounting because the adjustments maybe a little difficult to get to.

I have to say that Security Camera King's "Specifications" tab or even the downloadable specifications sheet itself does not do the camera justice. It should mention at least all the connections available let alone the electronic features, but it doesn't. Just so you know, here is a list of the connectors. The "pigtail" on the end of the camera cable has an RJ-45 Ethernet receptacle and the camera is POE ready, there is a separate external power supply jack if you do not choose to use POE, there is a BNC video out (yes you can use your regular analog DVR for monitoring if you choose), There are audio in and out RCA receptacles, an RS485 wire pair connector, a USB port, and the reset button.

One more item that is worth noting is that the camera can record as a standalone camera. It has a USB port for use with a USB flash drive and inside the camera is a micro SD card slot. Finally the camera has infrared LEDs that give it a range in total darkness of up to 50 feet.

Lastly, although mounting is super easy, you may find the operation or configuration of the camera a little difficult. The manual isn't a lot of help with this. However, I contacted Security Camera King's technical support department and these guys know the camera inside out. They were able to help get things set the way I wanted them in very little time. Considering the price, the quality of the video, and the number of features available on this camera I will rate it at five stars.
