Our 4 channel UTP Transceiver has 4 x BNC video connections and 1 X RJ45 connection. You can connect the pairs individually on the screw terminals or using a standard RJ45 jack. This device will convert up to 4 cameras using BNC connectors to a single CAT5 for distances of up to 1200 feet. Then with a second 4 channel video balun you can convert the video back to BNC. This is the ideal solution for running several cameras to a similar location on a single cable. Additionally, by using CAT5, you will be able to upgrade your system to network cameras in the future by simply removing the baluns and using the existing CAT5 for ethernet.***Please note these are sold individually, NOT in pairs.
This is a good way to put four camera on one CAT5. OF course you won't have any room for power (or audio) so you'll still have to run that separately.

I seem to be doing a lot more CAT5 installs these days. This balun works well for covering four channels at once.

I put one of these on the DVR end of the run and then put singles on each of the camera runs. It works great and makes CAT5 installations less of a chore.

This 4 channel balun works very well. Remember if you are a do-it-yourselfer to purchase two of these baluns, one for each end of the run. Also, I think this balun is best for cameras that have a relatively close grouping (i.e. lots of large department stores for example will have three or four cameras mounted on the same spot on the roof for parking lot coverage). Otherwise, you'll still have to run RG59 or some video cable with a BNC connector to the balun if the cameras are separated very much.

This passive balun works great, so good in fact I'd swear it was an active balun with power input. Use CAT5 for your cable run and place a balun on the end of each run. The video image is clear and interference free, there is no noise or ghosts and the color is correct.

These 4 channel passive video baluns really save me a lot of time and hassle. We have existing CAT5 UTP in our offies that are not being used so all I had to do was attach the baluns to each end of the CAT5 and we were up and running in no time. They really do work, and I recommend these unconditionally.

This works great for converting CAT5 cable back over to RG59 or more precisely, BNC type connectors. I bought 2 of these for my 7 camera system and they work great. Nice clear picture and I haven't noticed any interference yet.

We bought these for the security cameras in our computer lab. Network wire was already installed under floor panels so we just used an existing open Cat 5 Ethernet cable. I'm a computer geek and not a security camera guy. I wouldn't have known about these if it wasn't for your security expert's advice. Thanks!
