The PTZ-LX700L12X-E PTZ has all the advanced features and benefits of the PTZ-LX700L12X except this model has an ABS plastic housing rather than a Vandal Resistant metal housing. Both cameras can be mounted either indoors or outdoors and both are weather resistant. This PTZ camera features a Sony Super HAD II CCD with the Sony Effio DSP providing clear and crisp detail. This PTZ has most of the features found on much more expensive units but will save you hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars. We recently purchased Security Camera King\'s PTZ-LX700L12X-E 700 TVL 12X PTZ camera and I though I would write a review. This has got to be one of the most inexpensive yet quality performance producing PTZ cameras on the market. You wouldn\'t want to use this camera in an environment that could subject it to abuse (vandalism for example) but otherwise this camera is an excellent buy. Keeping in mind that this isn\'t some $1500 PTZ camera, I am impressed with the video quality and the PTZ performance of the camera. To begin with, the camera has the Sony Super HAD II CCD with the Effio digital signal processor so it produces great images with true color quality. The Pan, Tilt, and Zoom movements all work remarkably quickly. Even better, we\'ve tried other PTZ\'s near this price range and they are so week that when you make a PTZ movement they vibrate the lens, but not this one. The 12X zoom isn\'t super strong in power but it certainly does the job for the price.
