This Security Camera King package deal is a nice way to get into IP network megapixel systems without going overboard on cost. Granted these cameras "only" produce 720p resolution video recordings, but unless you need to know what's printed on someone's charm bracelet, that is plenty good enough for me. This high definition video is just as good as quality as sitting home and watching a high definition television program.

For an IP network set up, this is a pretty good offering. Four indoor/outdoor domes and 4 bullets along with an 8 camera POE switch means all you have to do is run CAT5 from the camera to the switch, and when you are all finished with the cameras, just one CAT5 jumper cable from the POE Switch to the NVR. This is great for home use if you can afford it. (You get what you pay for.) I can also see it being used for commercial applications as well. Especially, if you are upgrading a previously installed older coaxial cable video security system with this one because you can still use the same cable. The video is finely detailed, sharp, and colorful. Even the infrared black and white mode shows good detail.

Our company owns a five floor research facility in which one floor in particular is extra secure. Although we have a general alarm and video security system, we purchased this "Tiny" NVR system specifically for the inside rooms of that floor. We had no problems with installation or integration to our company's existing network. The video quality is excellent and gives us great facial recognition for the areas that we need it. Even with the multiple camera high definition input there is very little effect on the speed of our network. The system was easy to install and works great!

This is an impressive miniature system and with everything that is included, you don't really even have to have your own network. S simple broad band Internet connection will give you the opportunity to take advantage of the mobility in the remote access feature. I think Security Camera King came up with a pretty good system that sacrifices some features (like audio inputs) for the sake of keeping the price on the total system down. If you don't mind D1 and purchasing a bigger switch, you can go as high as 16 channels on this small NVR! The video capture as well as the recording are of amazing quality and are clear, sharp, and colorful. Security Camera King has a technical support group that is like no other also. Rest assured your problem will be solved by these guys or they won't give up!

If you are not a regular video security camera system buff, don't let the name of Security Camera King's system fool you. They may call it their "Tiny NVR Surveillance System" but the "Tiny" is in reference to the actual physical size of the NVR itself and not to the system as a whole. In fact this "Tiny" NVR Surveillance System" only uses IP network MEGApixel cameras. And that's one of the many features that make this such a good deal. All eight cameras that come with this system are 1.3 megapixel cameras and the capture a really clear, detailed color or black and white video image. They work good in broad daylight or at nigh in infrared mode. You don't have to be a fancy computer network specialist to manage this system either. In fact, you don't even have to worry about installing power supplies for each camera at the mounting location because Security Camera King includes an 8 port Power over the Ethernet (PoE) switch. Basically you mount the cameras. Plug in the CAT5 cables to the switch and the NVR and the Internet and you're done. You can also plug in a separate VGA or HDMI based monitor if you want. The system comes with full multiple user remote access support using most any type of Internet device such as a computer, tablet, Blackberry, and especially a smartphone. The quality of the video is amazing and there is very little detail that can escape the view of the cameras. This system is great for use in existing network environments or locations that don't even have a network such as a residential home.

This is a nice IP network package that you can basically install and plug and go. I'm glad Security Camera King includes the 8 port POE switch with this package because I actually purchased this system for my home and don't have an elaborate network and I didn't want to run individual power supply lines to each camera. Like I said, with this package, you can plug and go. The camera resolution is great, talk about clear, detailed video. I got to thinking after I installed my system, that there is no excuse for banks and other major need-for-video security businesses to have cheap, barely viewable videos anymore, especially with these megapixel systems. And although these systems are the cheapest ones available, if I can afford it for my house, then business could certainly afford it for their use considering the benefits.

Anyway, getting back to the equipment. The cameras work great and are easy to install and pretty easy to set up too. The "Tiny" NVR works like a charm and even though it is small it still offers a lot of options or features via the On Screen Display menu. If you do a lot of recording or you want to save your recordings for a while, it might be wise to get the 3 TB internal hard drive. I'm very satisfied.

I purchased this system for my home and separate workshop which has thousands of dollars of machine tools. My house is new and somewhat custom built. This Security Camera King video security system was basically an afterthought after having it built. But I've got to thinking, after seeing the quality and type of protection this system can provide, why aren't these considered a basic part of every new house construction these days? The system was easy to install (and I'm not a computer geek) with the exception of running a CAT5 feed out to my workshop, but I should have done that anyway because I have a computer in my office there. The cameras work very well and record a very detailed color video during the day and black and white at night (both the bullets and the domes). The NVR is small and simple but it still comes with a bunch of features and handles the remote access well, a feature that I absolutely love. If your satisfied with a lesser detailed video, the you can go cheaper with a TVL type system, but this network system is so impressive that I'm sure that's all I'll deal with in the future.

If I had to describe this system in two words I would have to say "Simple" and "Easy." The system actually works great! We purchased this system to provide security and surveillance monitoring four our office. Our office is a two story old Victorian type house in an old neighborhood that used to be very safe and sound. However, as time goes on some buildings are empty and idle between tenants and there has been a lot of theft and vandalism to these buildings, especially in the form of ripping out all the copper pipes. When these thieves steel copper, they don't care how they do it, what ever is the easiest and fastest method so there is a lot of damage left to the structure. Anyway, I thought it was about time to get a video security system for our office building. My son, who lives on the other side of the country, told me that the best system to get would be a megapixel system and since we have a network and IP network megapixel system would work best. He suggested Security Camera King's Complete 8 Camera Tiny NVR Surveillance System.

We have business broad band Internet service coming into the office building and although we have a "network" I must admit it is not the neatest, most modern thing you have ever seen. (It's located in one of our "closets" and we don not have a rack or framework.) Our building is wired throughout with Cat5E cable though. We purchased this "Tiny" system with a 3 TB hard drive which is more than enough space for us since we primarily use the system to record on motion and need it after hours on weekdays and on weekends. I was very skeptical of purchasing the system because of the price and more so because of the fact that I didn't think it would be easy to install (it was already pre-determined that I would install it to save my company the installation charges). When I did install the system, all I really had to do was mount the cameras connect the Ethernet cables and power cables to the switch and NVR and the system basically configured itself. It was so easy! (Now people come to the office and when they enquire about the new security system and find out it is a network system that I installed, they think I'm some kind of computer whiz). All of the cameras work great (we use the bullets for surrounding outdoor coverage of the building and the domes inside) and the NVR produces some of the best quality security video I've seen. The remote access feature is super and it works very well. In fact we don't even use a monitor. We use our computers inside the building and I use my iPhone when I am away. Thanks much to Security Camera King's support department they were a great help. Excellent "no hassle" package.

This is an "Inter"-esting "Inter" net package....hehe...It's nice to see Security Camera King coming out with IP network megapixel system security package deals now. We purchased this system for our business and it integrated well with our other systems and our network. The cameras all work extremely well, and we are satisfied with the 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. It's nice that the package also includes the 8 camera network power switch (Power over the Ethernet) because I have seen other systems offered without it and if you aren't very familiar with these systems that could be a problem. The NVR is their "tiny" no frills NVR and it does an excellent job of recording the 8 channels of video simultaneously. No color problems no dropped or missed frames, no crashes, and no conflicts. Maybe they should call this the 8 Camera Tiny "No" package. I'd recommend it to others.
