I purchased this for my Veilux PTZ camera and it works great. Most of the components of the camera are hidden above the ceiling while the lens and just a portion of the camera protrude downward. This mount has made installation of my PTZ camera neat and tidy versus a potential disaster if I didn't use. Highly recommended.

We are an education finance company for college students. We have approximately 100 work stations that include a computer and telephone. Each station is constructed using modular office furniture. We use Veilux cameras to provide us with digital video security as well as to monitor our employees. These in-ceiling mounts make an excellent, mount for the PTZ cameras allowing the ceiling mounts to make a smooth transition to the dome without sticking out like a sore thumb. They are relatively easy to install--they remind me of the "cans" that are used for most recessed lighting. If you can install a can, then you should have no problem with these mounts.
