My wife and I call this the "Zapper" because of the surprising light it creates when it detects motion and also because of the "I gotchya" feature of recording video. Our house sets back in off the road. Our garage is attached to the house so I have mounted this on the front of the garage. Usually, anyone approaching the house sets off the unit. It gives us the peace of mind of a greater sense of security.
