I am a professional softball umpire and I referee local softball games. I thought I would by these and try them to see how they worked for recording various plays so after the game I could review them to make sure I was making the right call. The polarized sunglasses are great and keep the glare down during the game and the camera does an excellent job of recording the action. Where ever I look the camera records and that's just exactly what I wanted.

Okay, the following doesn't exactly qualify as security or protection, but none the less it's still a great way to use these. I use these when I go golfing to document any hole-in-ones or unusual shots. I golfed with a friend one time who shot a hole-in-one. I vowed that somehow I would find a way to document future shots. I mean, there is no zoom or anything on these glasses but it sure beats carrying a video camera onto each tee.

My wife got these for me as a Christmas gift. I'm a glider pilot and I love to soar. I wear these to document my cross-country flights and they work extremely well. If I keep close watch on my instruments, I can even use them to help show me how to make my soaring more efficient.
