This camera is a great way to upgrade an older camera system while still using the older coax cable. It can still work with older analog (CVBS) video technology but it can also provide HD video through HD-CVI, HD-CVI, and AHD technologies as long as the recorder that they’re connected to will support these standards.

It can handle low-light situations better than the human eye, even before things get dark enough that infrared is needed. It can also compensate for backlighting and headlights. These and other image settings can be accessed through the camera’s OSD (On Screen Menu).
